Buses are nice and modern. But otherwise an extremely poor service delivered.

I live on the 763 route and have had to get this bus a handful of times.

From my own experience, the drivers have been extremely rude and have given snarky responses when they've arrived more than 40-50 mins late on a number of occasions. I would forgive 5 or 10 mins due to standard delays but it is beyond ridiculous.

Have booked a seat in advance and been on time myself, but the same standard doesn't seem to come from this company who treat paying customers with complete contempt.

Have called the customer service and stated in real time what was happening and they seem to just give a fake estimate of when the bus will arrive. Expensive for what (for me at least) is a very short trip. And they don't seem to want to provide a quality service for the price.

If it was a free, cheap or frequent service I wouldn't complain.

Extremely unreliable. I will avoid in future and spread that word also.

There was no soap in the toilet on the last 2 coaches I got. There was no water in the tap in the first coach.

I had a little bottle of shampoo but I still had to handle the door handle and rails that previous users had to handle.

I will get the train in future.

Citylink 763 from Dublin to Galway City. I get on in the Midlands regularly and the bus is ALWAYS 20/30/40 minutes late!! It's infuriating. Everytime. And you have to be there on time on the off chance it's actually on time for once. Buses are comfortable and have wifi etc but avoid if possible. Trains are 100% more punctual.

Left off on time, no reason to be behind schedule since there's no stops between cork and Dublin City, but the bus is magically almost a half hour behind, I know it's not much, not the drivers fault either so I've no qualms with him, but if they've done the route for how many years, you think they could update it to the actual length. Honestly just upset because I'll now have missed the only bus I can get, to bring me where I need to go tonight.

Power advertised, but no power on the bus.
Next time I'll be getting the train.

I am very happy with City Link service. Drivers are very friendly. Citylink staff in the dublin city center stop are friendly and helpful when needed.

One thing that i like about City link is say if i book the ticket for 7:30 pm bus. If i came early for 6:30 PM bus if there are seats available they let me in. Which is a very good service I always use it when i complete my work early. I tried the same on competitor travels but I end up paying more than ticket price and i don't have flexibility to travel as well.

For that reason i always love and enjoy GoBus(City link). Majority of my trips i travel with Citylink.

They offer wi-fi on board but i never used it. So i don't know anything about it. Toilets are kept well.

The staff are very helpful at all times when I travel on Citylink.The drivers are very professional . Recently I had to contact them when I left my bag on the bus. The girl at the Citylink office contacted the driver and my bag was returned when the bus came back to that location. The girl at the office couldn't have been more helpful or polite to me. I am very impressed with how they run their busines and I would always use Citylink.

Driver has been on his phone whole journey so far using very offensive languag
Toilet absolutely stinks the bus out

The service on city link/go bus has declined drastically in recent years. I have experienced continuous issues with connecting to their so called ‘free wifi’ on board. Lodged complaints but the manager is very rude and states that the wifi is offered ‘complimentary’ yet it’s clearly advertised on the buses themselves. The new booking system on their website is awful. All this combined with constant price hikes.

My partner and myself, got stopped entering the bus, not by the driver but by the man in the loading bay, because I was holding a pre-packed sandwich? He man-explained, a cold sandwich is considered 'a smelly food' and therefore not allowed on the bus. Who in Ireland, dosent ever bring a sandwich on a bus from galway to dublin. We didn't have a choice but to eat it before getting on the bus and have the same man telling us to hurry up.

An hour into our trip, hello and behold everybody on the bus was eating a cold 'smelly food' sandwich, and throughout our journey to dublin.

In conclusion I'm trying to understand, was the man in the loading bay on a power trip enforcing rules? Or perhaps chancing his arm in trying to get a free lunch?

Another man in the loading did apologise saying sandwichs were fine to take on the bus, but then had our plastic bag checked by the driver getting on the bus again?

Don't think I will travel with citylink/gobus anytime soon, especially on an empty stomach.

Service 3.30pm 763 Dublin Airport to Galway multistop

This man deserves a 10/10 review.
His desire to be helpfull was exceptional to all pasengers, but went the extra mile with the more elderly.
He is obviously very experienced in people management, in an instant he can spot the needs of his pasengers and is very efficient in all his duties, and yet very humble in his actions.
On arrival at my destination I thanked and complimented him on his hospitality, and he replied, thank you for using City Link.

I was a frequent user of the citylink service as I found it the most comfortable, convenient and reliable way to commute from Limerick to Galway. HOWEVER, on the 17:45 service today I was encountered by a rude male bus driver whom said he wouldn’t accept my cash even though by company policy it allows cash. I am currently waiting on a new card so had to message friends and ask them to buy a ticket online. There are people who use cash and don’t have a card for a number of reasons, not allowing cash for his personal reasons is also very ageist as many older people carry cash. I will use the other well known bus company in future whom have no problem accepting cash.

The 10:10 bus heading for Dublin airport arriving at Oranmore town centre arrived at 10:17. The driver Branco stopped for less than a minute and didn’t bother to wait and check if anyone else needed to get on after he answered another woman at the bus stop’s question; he immediately started closing the doors. I had to walk up to the closing doors for him to see me. This was 10:18. Then when I asked if this is the Dublin airport bus, he angrily and rudely said yes and that I was late. We were waiting at this bus stop since 10:00 to be on time, but he showed up at 10:17. He is highly unprofessional and doesn’t know how to speak to people. Or is it because I’m not white - he spoke politely to the white woman ahead of me and ALL other white passengers; he didn’t even bother to greet the group of black women who got on the bus at a different stop but greeted the white woman who got on immediately after them. Is this the kind of people Citylink employs?

I would generally rate this Company with 5* but now this is not the case.
Went to book tickets on my mobile phone and when all details we filled in I was asked to Log In. There was no facility to do this as the link to click on was not available. I also ask the question. What is the reason for customers to Log In?
The website was changed (definitely not upgraded) in November '23. Please revert to the old system or get somebody who knows what the are doing to redesign it.

Charged 92 euro for two of my family members to travel one-way from Galway to Dublin Airport. Citylink will not refund the overcharge of 46 euro despite phone calls. No response to emails.

Have been using Citylink for years & never had a bother..on time..warm and all bus drivers I've had were wonderful & great customer service..

went on holiday 2 weeks ago. We were flying from dublin so booked city link for going up and down. Going up was no bother at all where as going down was a joke. We booked the bus for coming down at 6 pm or flight got in at 5 past 5. We got delayed waiting for our bags and going through security coming out of dublin airport but none the less we got out to where the bus was supposed to be at 5 to 6 and it was gone. We spoke to another bus driver who said it had just left. We had to pay 50 euro on top of that to get a different bus home. This is ridiculous carry on as you think the bus would leave at the time said.

The new Citylink online booking website is an absolute nightmare. It does not follow any logical steps.
Bring back your 'old' booking system and tell whoever designed your 'new' version to find a different job.
I would use Gobus but for the fact that their booking procedure directs me to your website again.
One star is the only option available otherwise I would be awarding you a -5.
