Excellent service from start to completion resulting in a brilliant and quality job. Not only that, but Chris and his crew took the time to explain the work required outlining the options before proceeding so that the resulting cost suits your pocket.
I could not recommend CJ Roofing Services enough. Even after the job I was sent pictures and video showing the job as it progressed to completion. Just brilliant.

Chris (CJ) O'Brien is a good sales man, but his team done really poor work on our house. He requested that he got paid in cash; once paid we found out that the work he done was of a very poor standard and that his team hadn't fixed the issue. It was then very difficult to get hims back to fix it. He previously operated as Affordable Roofers Dublin (Affordableroofers.ie), now operating as cjroofingservice ltd. You will notice that his website includes vague addresses for Dublin, Meath and Kildare. He may also work off different phone numbers. We got a receipt of works on non-headed paper.

For any roofer I recommend that you agree the scope of works, and only pay in full when you're satisfied with the works. e.g. wait until heavy rain to ensure that a leak has been fixed. I also recommend checking that they have a legitimate business, are they registered as a CRO business or sole trader? And if so for how long? I would be reluctant to trust companies that have recently been set up. Some people change their trading name every few years to avoid getting a bad reputation. Check their address details are accurate, and that the details of the company owner are accurate. Get the owners full name.

But most of all, don't trust online reviews. Instead if you notice roof work locally of a high quality finish, ask the owner for contact details for the roofer, and whether or not they would recommend them. Or get recommendations from a local builders providers that you trust. There seems to be a lot of roofers in Ireland that are fleecing people for poor quality work. Meanwhile the good roofers don't have to rely on fake reviews as they are kept busy by word of mouth.

Lengths incorrectly cut. Accessories used to aid drainage are very poorly fitted resulting in water pooling and leaks. Excessive amounts of silicone used on gutters and in damaged walls where concrete should have been used.
Also, unbelievably, silicone has been used to stick down new roofing tiles on the porch !!! Photos available.
Worse off now than before. Would strongly advise looking elsewhere for your guttering and roofing. This is not the work of people who care or know what they are doing.
...and when they think you cant see, they use the back of your house as a toilet.

I had initially given 5 stars as the guys had turned up on time and communication with Chris had been excellent , however after the work was finished we noticed numerous cracks and chips where the work had been done, called Chris and he sent the guys back out again, however once again not all the work had been redone and we have been left with large cracks and broken cement in one of the large valleys that was redone, I’ve tried calling, leaving voice mails and also messaging but have yet to receive any form of contact when previous prior to payment the contact was almost instant.
