Had written for cancellation of my subscription, yet charged my credit card with no prior intimation.

I had written to cancel my subscription citing I am not using their services. But they selectively cancelled the low cost subscriptions and deliberately did not cancel the high end ones.

They did not even inform me about this or informed of upcoming renewal and charged my credit card with not even a receipt.

Upon intimation from my bank I asked for a refund. Their Head of Support tells me that they were not intimated and cannot refund.

I sent her my earlier email requesting cancellation of my subscription but she flatly put the blame on me and flatly refused refund.

In my twenty years of online purchases, this is the first time that I have been duped by scamsters like Clepher.com

Please be cautious in you business dealings with them.

Still Refusing Refund Despite Zero Usage and Closed Business

After posting my original review, Clepher publicly replied saying they had sent renewal reminder emails before charging me for another full year on October 6, 2025. I immediately checked my inbox — no such emails exist. It’s possible they went to spam, but those messages are deleted automatically after 30 days. Even if I had received them, I likely wouldn’t have recognized the brand name, since it changed from what I originally signed up for.

Every customer situation is different, and this one is very straightforward: my account has had no activity in over two years, and my business has been closed for over a year. It’s not hard to confirm that. I clearly wasn’t using the product and had simply forgotten the subscription existed.

The fair and customer-oriented thing to do would have been to acknowledge that I never used the service and issue a refund. Instead, Clepher spent more time writing multiple replies than it would have taken to process the refund itself.

At its core, this is a question of value, not terms. When a company can clearly see that a customer has received zero value in exchange for a payment — and is being billed in advance for another year of service they obviously won’t use — the ethical choice is to refund them.

I stand by my review. Hopefully Clepher rethinks how it handles cases like this and chooses fairness over rigid policy in the future.

Starting Messenger and Insta Automation then Clepher is best choice.

This company has a great tutorial and a wonderful support team. Everything is very easy to use, even if you are just starting out. I started with Messenger and Instagram automation, and it has been a big help for my business. Their unlimited plan for $99 is a good choice if you want to get started. If you’re looking for automation tools, this is the choice you should not miss!

Total nightmare. Most apps can be used right away after purchase. Not Clepher. Clepher spends time doing an upsell (they take all the time in the world!).

You received your login credentials immediately after purchase — there was no delay on our end. Like many platforms, we offer optional upgrades during checkout, which you are free to skip. There are only two brief upsell screens, and they exist purely to offer discounted access to features such as Pro (which you actually received as a free 30-day trial, included with your lifetime plan so you can fully test it).

Regarding support: your messages were answered instantly by AI, and a human followed up within minutes to assist. At no point were you left waiting — in fact, we tried to help, but every response was met with anger rather than willingness to resolve the confusion.

I'm feeling scammed!!

I'm feeling scammed!!

I purchased a lifetime deal as an alternative to Manychat monthly payment. They've given me "to try" the PRO version for free for a month, the same month you can try the app and ask for a refund.

I sent an email saying I wanted to try it as I bought it, not as the PRO version.
I thought they changed my version from PRO to normal (as I paid), but I realised they didn't change it and the minute the 30 days refund time is over, lifetime deal is worse than free plan of Manychat.

BASICALLY IT'S USELESS. I've been trying to send messages with screenshots of what I've said here to ask for the refund, but they don't want... So I won't eliminate every single review till I have my money back.

I couldn’t paste screenshots of everything I’ve said as proofs… IN OTHER REVIEW WEBSITES I had to show the emails as a proof of what I’ve said, if not my reviews there won’t be visible at all, and they are.

THIS IS NOT THE CHEAPEST OPTION AT ALL. DON'T BUY CLEPHER IF YOU'RE COMPARING PRICES.

Our Lifetime Deal is precisely as advertised: $99 one-time for 3,000 subscribers with core features. This was clearly stated everywhere - on the sales page, in videos, in emails, and at checkout. The Pro trial you received? That's a bonus that's completely separate from your purchase. You opted in. You accepted the terms. You've received the emails about upcoming charges; you even opened the emails. Everything is logged.

Your claim about pricing compared to said competitor is flat-out wrong. Our Lifetime Deal saves users $501-$981 over two years. At higher tiers, we're 80% cheaper annually. Do the math, or compare through AI:

Big fraud

Big fraud, don't purchase it, the lifetime payment give you acess to an app that it's completely useless, unless your are paying for the pro every month. They are dishonest sales process. They were hiding a recurring subscription in the checkout process. They played with text and color to confused you

Now they asked me to pay $57/month Pro subscription unless you manually opt out—something they conveniently bury in the fine print. The only option that I have paid for was to use it for the post engagement on Instagram and now if I want to use it, I have to go on pro, and by the way they post engagement doesn't work if you paid the post on Instagram as as, and there is so much bugs with message I never had so little reply for DM.

They said as a good will they will offer me 1 month free on pro, which doesn't change anything. I have asked to get a full refund due to the big misleading. They refuse it as it's went over the 30 days refund window and it won't be fair for other customers, how convenient of that!

Run from them if you can !!!

Horrible software. You can do better than this!

I strongly advise against using this software based on my negative experience. Two major issues stand out:

Customer Support
The support is virtually non-existent. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I received no meaningful assistance with my concerns.

Cancellation Process
The cancellation process is deliberately complicated, forcing users through numerous screens and steps just to end their subscription. This appears to be an intentional design to retain customers through frustration rather than service quality.

As a paying customer, you deserve better than this. There are many alternatives available in the market that treat their customers with respect. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for a more customer-focused solution.

Dishonest sales process

I purchased Clepher’s Lifetime Deal, thinking I was making a one-time purchase. Nowhere in the ads was it made clear that they were hiding a recurring subscription in the checkout process. LACK INTEGRITY. FRAUD

Listen to the other reviews about fraud and unethical practices. We purchased the one time payment option and was subsequently charged another $1,000. We disputed it on Paypal, but they reached out offering to refund the entire amount faster than if we went through Paypal. They seemed so apologetic and reassured us that if we cancelled our dispute with Paypal, they would immediately process the refund. How silly of me to believe that. I went against my gut and cancelled the dispute and now they are refusing the full refund. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS! Now I have to go through my bank.

Regarding your situation, we offered a unique $1,000 discount in 2024 as a gesture of goodwill, which we have never done before (and, given the case, we will never do this again). We provided you with an additional $500 discount on renewals after the renewals hit. But you wouldn't take it. Despite knowing that you were not eligible for a refund, you instead took your chances with PayPal multiple times.

When you requested a refund, we explained that you were not eligible due to the refund policy you had agreed to. Nevertheless, we attempted to find a compromise to resolve the matter amicably. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to shift the dispute/claim type, PayPal thoroughly reviewed the case and ultimately decided in our favor for both payments.

You had 365 days to cancel your yearly renewals; we even emailed you that your subscriptions were about to renew. In November, we steered you away from a plan you wanted to purchase, which was the same one you already had but at a higher price. We advised you not to do so, and you were grateful for that.

We understand your frustration and are sorry this situation couldn’t be resolved as you had hoped. And I understand that you're looking for a place to vent. But we think it's unfair if we're being punished for your negligence. We're putting this all in the open so that other parties can grasp the entire picture. Our hope is that, by having a third party decide objectively, we can still proceed to work with you on your account.

Horrible in my opinion.
Very difficult to operate, almost impossible, takes forever to figure out even the slightest functions.
And once set up, most of them don't work or work badly.
And just think, I bought the version on offer and, when I realized that many functions were not included (blame a confusing and misleading sales page), to make it up to them they gave me a year's worth of the Pro version.
Well, again, some of the features don't go.
120 euros thrown away.

Total Scam, Charged 2x Even After Cancellation Confirmation

Total Scam. I signed up for the lifetime deal and was "given" a 30-day free trial of the pro plan. Not only was I charged immediately for the pro plan I didn't request with no free trial but I've been asking for a full cancellation since on the website there's no way to cancel anything. All requests have been ignored or refused by Clepher. I'm submitting a fraud complaint to my card company.

Edit: Clepher's response is full of lies. I've emailed them multiple times and they never respond within a day, let alone an hour. There is nowhere in their system to cancel, which is what I've been trying to do since before the "free trial" was over. They also haven't made any attempt to remedy my issues or concerns. Stay far away from Clepher. Their great pricing just isn't worth it.

2nd Edit: Clepher offered to work with me to rectify their unethical extra charges, but only if I removed this review. Their responses trying to paint me in a bad light don't tell the full story, and I maintain even stronger now my opinion that that everyone should stay as far from them as possible. They know they're in the wrong and that's why they offered what they did the way they did.

UPDATE: Since my original bad experience I was charged for Clepher 2 additional times after being told my cancellation request was processed. This is a total scam and garbage company that you should avoid at all costs. Signing up for them is my biggest regret of all of 2024. Don't make the same mistake I did.

After looking at the support thread you opened up with the support team, we can conclude the following:

You had a 30-day money-back guarantee, which expired. 30 days is a hard limit; anything over these 30 days is an expiry of the money-back guarantee. Like the Pro Trial, which converts into a subscription, the money-back guarantee is advertised on the sales and checkout pages.

Note that we also don't allow you to purchase without agreeing to the Terms of Sale, including the 30-day money-back guarantee. Simply put, you agreed to this on purchase. And when we gave you a thorough explanation of why you're not eligible to receive a refund. This was met with more threats and mudslinging on your part, not cool Brodi.

Our support team has mentioned up to 3 times where in the app you can go ahead and cancel your subscription; there's a BIG cancel button in your Billing Portal, and we sent multiple emails that notify you of any incoming charges. Moreover, in the third reply, we also offered to cancel it for you. In this reply, we also provided you a couple of months of FREE use of the Pro edition, which you did not respond to. So, yes, we did try multiple times to remedy your issues and concerns. But instead, you continued with mudslinging and false accusations like you're doing here on this platform.

Look, we understand that it's not the outcome you were hoping for, but you agreed to a 30-day money-back guarantee, and if you're outside, it simply means you're too late in requesting a refund. Simple stuff.

The LTD can be ordered with or without the Pro Trial. The Pro edition is optional and clearly labeled as a 30-day free trial. This is mentioned prominently on the sales page, in the pricing table, FAQ section, even in the sales video, and on the checkout page. From there, you'll get emails that literally say to skip your trial, inviting you to upgrade early.

And if that's not enough, we're sending you emails of upcoming charges and notifications your Trial is about to convert into a subscription. Our logs indicate you've opened these emails.

Finally, to activate the trial, customers must manually add it themselves. You could've chosen not to add it in the sign-up process. If the subscription isn’t canceled during the trial period, it automatically converts into a recurring fee—this is also clearly stated.

So no, we're not cheating anyone. We're a legitimate business. We strive to ensure transparency in every step of the purchasing process. And we actually do our best to inform customers multiple times about their account status.

I bought the special 99 lifetime plan without realizing they sign me up for the PRO. I had been paying the pro $49/m for more than 8 months without using it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your experience, and I’d like to provide some clarification, especially for the rest of us people to see.

You joined our platform on August 1st and were on a 30-day free trial for our PRO plan, which was clearly indicated multiple times during the sign-up process, in our emails, and the upsell video. We also sent you two reminder emails during your trial to inform you about the upcoming subscription charge, both were opened but the trial wasn’t canceled.

After the trial ended on August 31st, you were billed for the first month of the PRO subscription, and then again on September 30th. This totals 2 months, not 8. Or 11 as you mentioned in your email to support. You then threatened to give us a 1-star review because you were unhappy with the outcome. And here we are. Additionally, our records show you actively used the PRO features during the trial and the first billing period.

We want to ensure fairness and transparency, so let the record show that we even offered you an additional 3 months of the PRO plan free of charge to address any concerns, although you did not accept this offer.

Finally, we’re committed to clear communication and strive to be upfront with all our users. If there’s anything else we can do to assist you, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

They don't keep what they promise!

Clepher promises features in their VSL Video they don't have in their main product offer, only in an upsell. They ignored my cancellation within the "30 days money back" warranty. Although they sent an automated email confirmation, I am still waiting for the refund. They reacted after a I contacted them personally through SMS and WhatsApp.
