A few issues with our latest purchase that resulted in us having to pay £240 more to get the quality we were expecting (based on a previous order). Plus delivery issues that caused a few problems and constantly had to chase for updates. Not the same customer care that we're used to with other companies but in fairness our order prior to this, we received great quality containers.

Cleveland are good communicators and provide sound advice where needed.

Although a delivery vehicle broke down, they pulled out all the stops to ensure deadlines were met.

Great service, very easy communication and I was updated regularly.
Delivery was on time and everything went very smoothly.

Cleveland Containers were brilliant, they made everything easy. The initial advice was excellent, the purchase process easy, and the communications were first class throughout. The delivery driver was bang on time, friendly and courteous. The delivered container was in superb condition, exactly as described. I'll likely need more containers in future and I wouldn't bother to even look anywhere else next time. Good price too.

I strongly advise against using this company as their business practices appear to be based on misleading information, meaning the final cost is significantly higher than originally quoted.

I initially received a quote for a new 20ft container, which was significantly higher than the price offered by their closest competitor.

After some negotiation, they agreed to lower the price slightly. I provided site photos for delivery (which I was not obligated to do) and was then asked to submit measurements, which I sent within an hour. Despite this, Cleveland did not take prompt action. When they finally responded, the haulier refused to make a decision on access, insisting on a site survey. I was quoted two different prices for this survey, with the latter being £150 + VAT.

Ultimately, I chose to place my order with a competitor.

have ordered 2 used containers from them. first one was average condition but that’s fine that’s what i paid for.

the second one is pile or rust. it’s toxic inside from bird excrement, covered in rust inside, the doors won’t close as the handles are damaged.

they make you jump through hoops with pictures and videos to prove it (which i’ve sent) then ignore you…

when i’ve complained (i have not asked to replace only for some cleaning solution or someone to come fix the doors) i’ve been told to pay an additional £200 for someone to inspect it. which is not in line with distance selling rules. and what’s the point of pictures and videos if you still don’t believe a customer.

just want a reasonable container but these guys just want your money.

logistics was fine no issue anything else.

but they’ve sold me a rotten container and now just make excuses to avoid dealing with the issue.

i’m only 30 miles from them so £200? lol

Would use them again.
