Worst agency I have every applied for a role with. Rejected for a role I had a decent amount of experience in. I queried this for some feedback and was fobbed off with an excuse that there was loads of applicants (the role was specialist and had been up less than 24 hours). I found that hard to believe - 5 minutes later I was told they will now submit my CV and sent me a different email. You would of assumed a recruiter would have called me about it to discuss it further ? No they didn’t.
Avoid this agency!!

Thank you for making the recruitment process so much easier. All CVs received were to a high standard and the calibre of candidates excellent. We will definitely use your services again and would recommend to other health and social care providers looking for new team members with experience in this field.

Coburg placed an applicant forward without having met them, or without even any telephone screening (the candidate confirmed this in the interview).

After 2 weeks the candidate was unsuitable and was dismissed, yet they are now chasing me for charges of over £4,000 threatening legal action.

We have worked with many recruitment agencies over the years but this has been my worst experience to date.

They claim they do not have to provide screening, so my question to this is - what service do you actually provide?

I write this purely as I do not wish for any other business owner to find themselves in the same predicament.

What I really liked about the experience with Coburg Banks was just how honest they were with me. We had a role we were trying to recruit for 6 months with no success, and we came across Coburg Banks on Google. I got in touch because frankly I was a bit desperate. My account manager, Mark, told me why he thought we weren’t having success, so we changed a few elements and started to get some excellent CVs through.

I needed someone to tell me what we were doing wrong and how to put it right, and Coburg Banks did, and I’m really glad we took their advice.

Had a choice between a role through Coburg Banks, and one I'd found myself - the consultant that was dealing with me was very 'salesy' and forceful trying to push me to their role; with negative comments about the other position. Very transparent and leaving a bad-taste in my mouth. All to be expected within recruitment, but for a company claiming to be different (as every single agency does), this proved they are completely cut from the same cloth.

I also tried attending their office in London as listed on google, to discover it was simply a virtual office service. I guess they think they look like a bigger company having an office in the city. Poor show.

The recruitment of a new registered manager was swift and easy. The recruitment consultant sent me CVs of suitable candidates only in line with the criteria which we had which reduced time wasting.
We will definitely use this company again for whenever we need staff.

We recently used Coburg to support with an urgent vacancy which was business critical. I found Hayley to be extremely professional, a good communicator and dedicated to the task in hand. Out of the multiple recruiters used Coburg was exceptional and responded best to pressure. We will definitely be using them again.

After nearly 10 months of trying to find the right person to join our team, using other agencies and our own form of direct advertising, we found Coburg Banks through Google. We had an indepth chat on the telephone, which they followed up by visiting our offices, meeting us all and getting a feel for our business and who we are before going in search of the right person for us. Within a few days we had CVs of good quality candidates to peruse. They arranged all the interview times and dates and gave us good advice on particular points to raise and questions to ask. All interviews were followed up by them on the telephone for our feedback. Through Coburg Banks we finally found the right person to join our team and we are happy to say they are joining us in the new year.
