Mark the consultant who I worked with was great. Enthusiastic and helpful throughout. The watch was marketed cleverly and sold well.

They'll want your watch, they'll be persistent and the bid will be just north of insulting. Go to Watchfinder or SubDial for a much better deal and service.

I have sold a few pieces on watch collecting. It's really convenient and safe. I never once felt like i was in danger of being ripped off, even when selling hundreds of thousands worth of watches. It's also a great place to buy as you can gauge the true market value of a piece rather than relying on the marked-up value (like on Chrono 24). Fleur and the team provide an excellent, friendly, transparent service.

I bought a Rolex Daytona on watchcollecting.
Lot:#80517 for the sum of 18,000 GBP six months ago and to this day I still have not received the watch. No one knows where the watch is, lost package? Stolen watch? Scam?
Despite the excellent contact I had with the watchcollecting customer service, their response is that they are unable to conduct the investigations to find the watch.
My observation is simple, I lost 19,000 GBP in this matter.

Just got a watch and everything went well. I had to deal with Fleur from the watch collecting team and she was very helpful, quick with answering and dealing with the after sale.

From the outset, the service provided was of the highest quality with excellent communications and guidance. The feedback and attention to detail is exemplary.

Watch arrived completely broken and watch collecting have avoided and refused any accountability. They also admit they provide no checks on authenticity and even if the watch is working. Have been a nightmare to deal with. Not sure why you’d risk buying from them.

I bought a Rolex from a trade seller called AceWatches on this site. The watch came with box and papers. I have since sent the watch to Subdial to be authenticated and it turns out the watch is a fake! Watch collecting have told me very quickly that this is my problem to sort out. They have shown zero empathy for my situation being £7k out of pocket, just because I trusted their brand. And have been slow and unhelpful from the outset. They have also wiped all details of the sale from their website to avoid any culpability. I would encourage anyone who has bought a watch from them to get it authenticated at once!! As it’s fairly clear that this is not a one off and there are multiple dodgy ‘trade dealers’ using this site to pedal fake goods!!

A master watch maker has said the watch is not the watch listed and is what is commonly known as a Frankenstein watch or from a chop shop. As I look into this further it appears this is something that has potentially happened to hundreds of your other customers!

You are advertising fake watches a real ones!

You are allowing potential criminals with no actually business or experience of watchmaking to call themselves Trade Dealers on your website without vetting them!

You have now refused to give me any details of the ‘supposed’ dealer, to protect him rather than help me! This is obviously due to the possible back lash you will face due to the chance that all the other watches he has sold are the same chop shop rubbish!

You have been hard to reach, unempathetic and only interested in making me look unreliable! Rather than being a good company as your brand suggests you should be!

Not even an offer to refund your, very high, fee that I paid for a fake watches!!

Avoid avoid avoid!!! There are plenty of companies around who seek genuine, verified watches at reasonable prices!!
