Been put off by some of the reviews on here along with Hold being put on my card for their commission despite me immediately being outbid.
Have had no response to my questions by mail or WhatApp other than a mail directing me to their ToCs - which basically says buyer can scam me and it’s not their problem…
Decided not to bid again :-/

Great deal on a watch from Watch Collecting. Lots of constructive communication with the team working hard to broker a sale on a watch I won, which had not quite reached reserve. A deal was done and all parties were happy. Would certainly use again.

Alex made the entire process simple and easy to follow. Nothing was too much trouble and any queries I had were answered promptly and courteously.

I recently met Will from Watch Collecting at a Car Collecting coffee morning at Bicester Heritage. I'd brought with me my Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso Squadra Chronograph in the hope I might be able to sell it. Will explained everything clearly and I opted for their managed service which meant I handed over my watch knowing everything from that point on would be taken care of. The process was easy and only a few days later after they had arranged all the photography my watch was up on their 7 day auction site with an agreed reserve. The watch subsequently sold above my reserve and throughout the process Will was in hand to keep he updated and provide advice when asked. Very pleased with the service and painless process.

the transaction was managed perfectly, the support provided for collection was above and beyond. The watch is exactly as described and sensibly priced.

Will from Watch Collecting was great through the whole process and rung me to let me know there was another example of a watch that I’d previously missed out on was on the platform.

Very professional service, website easy to navigate and bid, My only personal annoyance is payment/delivery, their commission must be made immediately by credit card/debit card! however payment then must be paid in full direct to the seller! If the seller doesn't have any credit card/paymet facilities, Paypal etc...your stuck unless paying by bank transfer? also a pain personally for me was that you have to personally book the courier and separate courier insurance! then once done send them the courier labels so it can be collected by the courier the next day. I gave up trying in the end thus drove there! Great if you live in London however I was over 4 hours away! So think they really need to include shipping/insurance within the commission they charge or as an additional fee to have a complete end to end transaction and customer journey.

They are a very professional company so even with the above negatives I still feel its a 5* from me.
