Comp-Tac Holsters Opiniones 

I ordered a holster for an Sig M-17 and it took 3-4 weeks to get it. While waiting for it, I ordered two more, an Sig M-18 and a Glock 19. They got here quickly. Very pleased over-all.

Great holster. Exactly what I was looking for. At first, I gave 3 stars because I ordered the QD add on but did not originally seem compatible with this configuration. I can still use it on another holster. I’d have to remove thumb release or find a block that brings it out further in order to utilize QD attachment. If it is compatible in some way, there are no instructions with it or online.

Update: after watching the video below I was able to make it work. From the factory it seems it was installed backwards. Excellent customer service.

There was a notice on the website about expecting a delay in orders up to 10 days. After 15 days I had to email to check on order status. After an additional delay in shipping I received my holster. In one of CompTac’s YouTube videos detailing and introducing the CT3 holster, Gordon Carroll the HSG GM, makes a point of the holster hood making an audible “CLICK” when released. My holster has an optics cover and when the hood is released, the hood does not “click” open nor does it open completely. If the optics cover is not closed, the hood will open fully. I believe the spring in the hood is too weak for both the hood and optics cover. This makes me concerned regarding longevity, if the spring is weak now, how will the hood and optics cover release fully years from now?

I have to say that I have been with two primary holster companies for over 20 years during my military service. I was used to the level 3 retention holsters that I was issued, but after purchasing the level 3 holsters from Comptac, how I see holsters has wholly changed. At every level, the comptac level 3 is superior to the competition. I only wished for a Cordura wrap option for the holsters, which I did myself in Multicam. I recommend this holster to all of my soldiers every time they ask. Great product, guys!

Not impressed with the process. Sent wrong holster, took over a month to get the correct one.

I am a RSO at RTSP in New Jersey. I am very happy with the holster, but working long hours at the range my hip Was getting a little funky so I ordered the leg drop

I have owned Comp-Tac holsters for over 10 years. Reliable and comfortable. I am an IWB holster wearer. I do own a Comp-Tac speed holster for competition. The absolute best in the market.

I bought the double Magpouch And a single.
8 years ago. I have 2 different CZ for competition, one for Everyday. That's pretty good lifespan for the mag pouches for what I put them Through I also have an International holster for competition. Also I bought 8 years ago. Holsters a mint condition. I plan to buy again for a different gun. The product in my opinion is excellent. Just waiting for a little extra money. A couple of not so good experiences. The products are great, a favorite and I used them daily. The customer service, however, is very lacking. A few months ago I ordered a product online and instantly discovered I ordered the wrong model. I tried for three days to contact the company via email (could NOT find a phone number anywhere) to let them know of my error and to see if they could correct it before shipping. I even used the online contact form. No answer to any emails. A few days later the wrong product showed up. A few months ago I tried many times to place an order online to get the correct product I tried to order the first time, only for it to fail without explanation. I finally bought what I needed at the local gun shop for more money. Aggravation #2.

I finally found a phone number in one of the "how'd we do" emails and called. Lady on the phone was pleasant and helped with a new order, a part I wasn't able to find on the website. I asked for a hardware set to be included with the item because I didn't know if I had spare pieces or not. So I offered to pay for a set of new, just in case. Lady on the phone said 'no problem, we'll include a set gratis, we appreciate your business'.
Great! The part I needed showed up faster than I expected but was lacking the hardware set I asked for and tried to pay for. Aggravation #3. Lucky for me I found I had enough pieces to put my holster together.
The products are great and I'm very happy with them. Communication and CS is very lacking, however.

In reply to Comp-Tacs inquiry, and since Trust pilot isn't showing me a "reply button", I'll reply here that yes, I found I had the hardware I needed. So all is well.

Called to order a new (another) holster, was advised they were out about 10 days on production for that model, which made it questionable if would arrive in time for class I was taking. She suggested I order direct from Midway, that it was even on sale, they would ship today, then gave me MW's product no. for the exact holster for my specific gun. It was shipped that day from MW. Like solutions that come that fast.

My $80+ holster did not come with ANY instructions what so ever, just the main holster and a bag of parts. When I wrote to support they sent me a picture file of instructions which was blurry instead of an acrobat file. When I asked for the acrobat file they just did not respond. There are no instructions I could find on the website either.
