Judith was amazing from start to finish for us. We were put in touch with Connect Mortgages through a Whitegates property we liked, and Judith smelled a rat from the get go, and did the research - bringing to our attention a non standard build, something which the estate agent wasnt even aware of. Though it became apparent quite early on that this wasnt going to be the property for us, Judith kept us informed throughout the process, and did this without charge or even mention of charge.

At this point of our home buying journey, we had reached the end of our patience and wanted to take a break from house hunting, but we knew we would go back to Connect to use Judith at a later date. Which we did 6 months later on a new build property. We say this having spoken to probably around 5 other Advisors, we were confident Judith was a class above.

We can’t explain how much Judith helped us out during the process, finding the right documents, editing them so they were acceptable, chasing the developer/solicitors up to save our own stress, and offering impeccable advice and making sure we understood everything.

I don’t think we had to wait more than half an hour to get a response to a text or email, and I feel like Judith went above and beyond her role with Connect to help us, she is amazing.

If you’re going to use Connect Mortgages - ask for Judith Hughes, or DEMAND to wait until she is available!

Thomas Clarkson was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Being a first time buyer our knowledge was very limited and Tom took the time to explain everything in great detail. Regular catch ups were booked in to ensure we had everything we needed and gave us an opportunity to ask questions. Very efficient and knowledgeable, Tom secured our mortgage in a matter of days. I found all the advice really helpful. As since lock down it has made me aware of the financial Times we are facing. I fortunately worked at tesco all the way through. But to have an insurance policy as income protection is the best ideal solution. As I have heard stories from customers who have lost their business or they homes through no fault of their own
