I am a big fan of etoro and this isn’t one of those posts that sponsored I genuinely think this platform is very good.

You can work your way up the tiers and enjoy little perks on the way.

Also investing is a great way to retain cash and build long term wealth.

PS: Never had an issue with the trading platform. Etoro is not a financial advisor, so you need do your own research, but can be a nice addition to other savings options, as long as you don’t expect unrealistic, instant, big profits.

actual thieves. My account disappeared with hundreds invested in strong cryptos. no reply to support. No reset password emails received. No support replies. SAVE YOUR MONEY - I'm contacting the fraud office in the UK.

Have had an etoro uk account for almost a year. Don't join. They don't pay your money back.

Dont invest as loss is 100%.
I bought oil i did 6 purchases in different time but the market was getting red and I was lossing. I did not sell it kept and waiting for market to pick up after 4 day I see my 1 purchase disappear in am and by PM my other 2 purchases disappearing with the whole money I invested. So 4 purchase left I noticed from 2000$ only I see 900$ left in my ac . I had to sell all my other 4 purchases and able to recover1247$ out of 2000$ . its a scum certainly a scum. Even if you dont want sell your equity it will disappear and not recoverable. Its scum . 100% loss.

At the beginning very good to get your money out of your pocket, then once the markets take a turn they tell you they want to close your account and will not give a reason only this see the email. i stand to lose 5k due to markets are down, i have complained to the FCA and the Financial ombudsman.
You are unable to talk to anyone the people on that chat, cannot resolve anything and the take one week to reply to emails or ticket request.
The platform looks easy and nice to use what is it worth losing your money with the reason given?

Support is NON-EXISTENT...
If you try to raise a chat sessions when logged in, it is only available to 'Club Members'. Absolutely ridiculous... and then when they redirect you to create a support ticket it just goes to the home page. Terrible support. Event then, I have had a support ticket open FOR WEEKS and no reply. They are all over you before you put your money, but then once that is done... you're on your own... GOOD LUCK!

Really poor experience with them. Trading is fine, but every single time, and I mean every single one that I open the website to check my account and the markets, I have to fill in the very same compliance form answering questions about my expected account purpose, trading experience and such. This is extremely annoying because it is clearly a bug and it has been very well over a month since I raised it, without any actioning from their side, just ignoring my tickets apparently. Impossible to properly use the platform like this.

I had shares in companies that are still in the positive but they randomly took £100 from the account. so now the account is worthless and in the "negative"??, If i sold the shares I'd barely break even.

contacted them numerous times about this, ignored all of my messages.

no where on the account does it display where the money has gone, it's just been taken without a trace.

total scam.

Online chat is not responding for 15minutes
Ticket raised, they have not resolved but received the message that your case has been resolved now!

Now they run an advert (City am UK) to proof there prices are cheaper compared to IG, IB ... ridiculous.

Don't use if you are planning to make money not lose!

Avoid.! eTorro is a scam-like company.

I registered and started trading.

I uploaded KYC docs according to my requirements. Suddenly an automatic bot started calling my phone up to 3 times a day.

It turned out that the documents had not been approved because my bank statement was on two pages. Before I had a chance to resubmit the documentation eTorro had liquidated my position at a loss, subtracted their fee - all for doing nothing.

This is my honest experience.

Ok, so about 2 months ago I joined eToro, deposited 200 dollars and then withdrew the money just to check it is actually legit. I got my money within 5 days (KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAD TO PAY $25 JUST TO GET MY MONEY BACK). I, then put the money back into eToro and started trading... I went from $200 into $700 in a month. Not bad gains... I decided to take the full 700 out on december 23rd because I needed it for financial issues. It has now been 16 days and my money has not even left from eToro. I have sent them an email and they replied, confirming that it will be processed within 2 days. It has now been 8 days since that email. I have emailed them again and asked them to please process my transaction... IGNORED. Messaged them and tweeted to them on twitter. IGNORED. Messaged them on Facebook and posted on their page... IGNORED. Spoke to a member of the Live Chat team, I got told that they can not tell me a estimated time when I will have my money.

January 7th = I still do not have ANY money. It is still sat on the eToro website and have not received one email, reply to tweet or message back.

Result of all this = I will take LEGAL action and I am just waiting for a reply back. I will do everything I can to get my money back even if it means taking the website down. I have over 100+ people also helping me out. I have a fairly big online platform and I have video captured me

1. Withdrawing my money
2. Waiting
3. Speaking to the live chat members
4. Being ignored
5. Speaking to my legal team and solicitor about why all this can actually result in website being shut down

Message to eToro: I suggest you focus all your time and effort into paying EVERYONE their money. Even if it means cancelling new users from registration, stopping new withdrawals and deposits for the time being and if not stop all trading all together. You most likely have around 2-3 days left to give me and everyone their money before a storm of s*** rains upon you.
