Exactly what I needed
Simply put, Sophie is a knowledgeable and professional personal trainer who I recommend you get in touch with if you are wanting to see a positive change in your health or fitness lifestyle. She clearly takes her work and clients seriously, so is proactive to adapt workout plans to ability, injuries, and whatever may be possible on the day!
Sophie’s workouts are clear, effective and, above all, enjoyable! She makes it easy to track your progress and get comfortable with working particular muscles in various forms – so much so, I have found myself looking forward to tricep dips, which is not something I planned coming into this training.
The support and resources that come with Sophie’s training are great – help and advice with nutrition, motivation and weekly & monthly reviews to reassess your goals. Her approach doesn’t revolve around ‘all or nothing’ so her support makes those days that you don’t quite reach targets so much easier to recover from and improve on.
Plus, her general calm and friendly nature made it a lot easier to take that first step into personal training. I had significant anxiety around working out in a gym, so during training with Sophie I would still have episodes of panic that she dealt with gracefully, patiently and always without judgement, which I am so grateful for. After 7 months of personal training sessions, I can now go to the gym on my own, conduct a session on my own and even approach others for their kit – so physical progress isn’t the only reward from these sessions!
