Not a great experience. I bought an 8.50 VPS with these guys when they were doing a special, which I couldn't install an OS on as it kept getting stuck at boot. Support was initially helpful until they suddenly stopped responding, and after waiting a week I bumped the ticket, and then when I went to check it the day after, it had been deleted - so it seemed from my point of view that they were deleting tickets instead of replying to them. I then put in another ticket, which was also deleted, and then another, which received the same treatment. The next day my VPS would not show up on the panel, which was quite shocking. My account was then deleted. All the while radio silence was maintained when I contacted them about all of this.

In the end, I had to claim my money back from my credit card provider. Stay away!

Tot op heden erg slechte ervaring. 2 keer totaal de server kwijt geraakt met alle gevolgen van dien. Facturen kloppen niet. Server soms dagen onbereikbaar vanwege een niet doorgegeven wijziging. Kortom na 4 kansen en 3 weggelopen klanten heeft deze Host de handdoek in de ring gegooid na een verkeerde opvatting van een vraag. Hierna direct 24uur gekregen alles van de servers af te halen. Let dus op met deze host! Van feedback houden ze niet (1 Dags backup naar 7 dagen, manier van opzeggen account met bevestigingsmail) Alle tips ten spijte die ze overigens nu wel gebruiken naar aanleiding van mijn situaties

Ik had per ongeluk een hardnekkige software gedownload waardoor mijn VPS niet meer goed functioneerde naar gebruik. ik had hiervoor een ticket aangemaakt binnen 10 minuten was ik al goed geholpen en werkte mijn VPS weer top hosting!

Zeer klantvriendelijk! erg snelle servers.

Host hier mijn website en heb hier mijn domeinnamen gekocht, zelf nog nooit problemen ervaren.

Heb een VPS lopen, had wat problemen deze zijn echter netjes en snel opgelost.

Ze zijn erg transparant als er netwerkproblemen zijn en laten dit dan ook per direct weten.

De dedicated servers zijn iets wat prijziger vergeleken met andere concurrenten, echter gaat dit wel gepaard met goede support en een fijn platform om real-time dataverkeer in te zien.

Had een aantal vragen met betrekking tot mijn dedicated server, die zijn snel en goed opgelost door ContraWeb. De gemiddelde first-response time ligt rond de 10 minuten.

Super, alles op een plek geregeld!

Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding zeker 5 sterren waard. Meer dan tevreden met de diensten die ik recent heb afgenomen.

Total scam of a company. They posted an offer with yearly vps service on Low End Talk, and then after collecting $$$ of hundred of members ther for yearly vps, they just disable all accounts and deleted the vps (so they did to mine)! Thievs...

UPDATE: Not only they are thieves, but they also reported my review to trustpilot claiming "they don't believe I've had a genuine buying or service experience"!!! They only do care about reputation but they scammed hundreds of people (look at Low End Talk). Of course, I provided evidence to Trustpilot and I hope this company closes and the owners do have penalties from the authorities for not honoring what they have been paid for.

It started all well - bought a VPS for a year for 8.5 euro - good deal. Support went above and beyond to accommodate my request for a custom ISO. All of a sudden they cancelled my service - not just cancelled, wiped it off the book like it never existed. Support doesn't respond anymore, my VPS and all data is gone. Imagine that happening to a production server where a decent site is hosted and you forgot to backup?
Just one word - stay away from these crooks and untrustful individuals.
PayPal claim is in the works and this review will be posted on every outlet I manage to find for Contraweb. Nice work, guys - kudos for the good job you've done!!!

P.S. Now they see to try to clear their name but they have deleted all customer data and are actively trying to report bad reviews. Thankfully, I have all the releveant information and receipts to prove BAD service.
You say - provide customer details? You know damn well what went wrong - you deleted probably hundred VPS which you missold! I've posted 4 separate tickets for my deleted VPS to which you have NOT responded, just conveniently ignored. I'm so happy I used PayPal when paying so at least I have some level of security with these crooks. Case won - got my money back. The review stays though - STAY AWAY FROM CONTRAWEB!!!

Scam, Terminated my server after about 1 Month. Refund through paypal

Top servers, al 3 maanden klant bij ContraWeb. Heb meerdere diensten afgenomen en nog geen problemen gehad.

Received a email from Trustpilot if u could leave a review.

Bought 1 dedicated server, works still fine, no complaints yet.

Ik heb 3 maanden een VPS bij ContraWeb, meteen na betaling binnen 120 seconden perfect geleverd zoals beloofd op de website.

Ook op mijn tickets binnen kantooruren binnen 30 minuten antwoord. Zeker een aanrader!

disabled my service after 2 months also removed my support ticket. disputed with paypal. Also they are falsely flagging bad reviews.

VPS services get terminated without any notice and no reply to tickets.

Update 29-April: PayPal concluded the investigation into our case and have decided in our favor so we are lucky we paid with PayPal now it looks like Contraweb are not accepting PayPal anymore!. It looks like every time someone leaves a negative review here they receive a few positive ones!!. Are the positive reviews coming from the company themselves and not from customers??????

Absolute scam: Sold a VPS at 8.50, invoiced 9,05 for it and after two weeks closed the service. This happened to many customers at the same time. They have not responded to tickets.

Ondanks wat tegenvallers ben ik enorm goed geholpen door Contraweb. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend. Ik heb meerdere domeinnamen, webhostings en één Virtual Private Server bij Contraweb staan en weet dat deze daar veilig staan. Wel zijn er wat verbeterpunten omtrent de VPS maar die zijn bekend bij de hosting zelf en zullen verbeterd worden.
