Información sobre la empresa

  1. Proveedor de sistemas de seguridad

Escrito por la empresa

Coram is a modern physical security platform that turns any IP camera into an intelligent, AI-powered safety system. Built to unify video security, access control, and emergency management, Coram helps teams detect critical events sooner, search footage in seconds, and coordinate faster responses from a single cloud dashboard. With an open architecture (no vendor lock-in), Coram works with your existing cameras and scales from one site to thousands. Enterprise-grade security is standard—SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance, SSO/MFA, encryption, and detailed audit logs—so IT and security leaders can deploy confidently across regulated environments. Coram’s advanced Video AI delivers real-time, high-precision alerts and natural-language video search. AI Agents detect threats and safety risks—including firearm detection, slip-and-fall incidents, and PPE violations—while “Discover” search finds relevant clips just by typing what you’re looking for. Investigations move faster with journey tracking across cameras, rich dashboards for people and vehicle analytics, license plate recognition (LPR), and privacy-aware facial recognition. Unlimited cloud archiving, instant clip sharing, and built-in incident reporting keep evidence secure and collaboration simple—on web and mobile. Getting started is straightforward. Coram supports any IP camera and also offers a broad lineup of NDAA/ONVIF-compliant models designed for every use case—domes, bullets, turrets, panoramic, fisheye, PTZ, and more. Many models are available free with a software subscription, making upgrades cost-effective without sacrificing quality. Pricing is transparent: you own the Coram Point (the AI-enabled gateway/NVR), pay a per-camera software license (1, 3, 5, or 10-year terms), get 24/7 support, and can add unlimited users at no extra cost. It’s a flexible approach that preserves existing investments while unlocking the latest AI capabilities. Coram’s cloud-first Access Control unifies doors, cameras, and alerts so you see exactly who did what, where, and when—without juggling multiple tools. Every door event (unlocks, denied access, propped or forced doors) is automatically paired with the relevant video for instant context. Create schedules, grant temporary credentials, and receive tailgating alerts in real time. Manage users, doors, and sites from anywhere with a clean, mobile-ready dashboard, and integrate with leading ecosystems (e.g., OpenPath/Avigilon Alta, Brivo, Genetec, LenelS2/Mercury) to fit your current stack. When seconds matter, Coram’s Emergency Management System (EMS) streamlines response—from first alert to final reunification—in a single application. Trigger events manually or automatically from AI detections; broadcast alerts to the right teams (including direct 911 escalation) and override Do Not Disturb on responders’ phones; coordinate via built-in chat with live video; and close out with complete logs for compliance and continuous improvement. Designed with input from schools and safety teams, EMS includes a one-toggle Drill Mode and support that helps organizations meet Alyssa’s Law requirements. The result is faster, more coordinated responses that keep people safe. Choose Coram to modernize video surveillance, access control, and emergency response—without ripping and replacing your infrastructure. With open compatibility, powerful AI, and a user-friendly cloud platform, Coram helps businesses, schools, healthcare, and city operators build safer, smarter, more resilient operations today.

Invasive Calendar Marketing via Third-Party Domains & Inaccurate Data Lists

I am writing this to document a highly invasive marketing practice used by Coram.ai. I received multiple "Registration Confirmation" emails and automated calendar invitations for a "Unified Security" webinar that I never signed up for.

Technical Observations:

Deceptive Subject Lines: The emails were labeled as "Confirmations," implying a prior transaction or registration that never occurred. This appears to be a tactic to bypass standard email spam filters.

Domain Masking: The initial invitations originated from an external domain (sightpoint.net) which currently has no active website and appears to serve solely as a "burner" for outbound solicitation.

Data Accuracy Issues: The invitations were addressed to "Steve Eubanks," which is not my name. This confirms the use of unverified, third-party lead lists rather than a direct opt-in or legitimate business relationship.

Infrastructure Abuse: The sender utilized Zoom’s registration API to force entries onto my private calendar.

Following the "confirmation," I received a direct follow-up from a coram.ai email address offering an "insulated mug" as an attendance gift. While the product may be legitimate, the "forced registration" and "calendar spam" methods used to generate leads are non-compliant with standard B2B marketing ethics and raise significant questions regarding their CAN-SPAM Act compliance.

I have formally reported the associated Webinar IDs to Zoom Trust & Safety and flagged the domain infrastructure with AWS. I recommend that Coram.ai immediately audit their third-party marketing vendors to ensure they are not damaging the brand's reputation with these "black hat" growth tactics.
