No one cares for the customer. During Covid it was GREAT

During Covid it was GREAT! But I didn’t realize that I was on an auto renew @$99/year. Fast forward 2 years of not having any activity on the account I just noticed an auto renewal message.
I followed instructions to stop auto-renew about could remove my CC in the payment section.
I realize it’s on me to have ‘cancelled’ but I didn’t see any messages previously
Contacted them via the app (only way to do so) and Whoo hoo. Getting an $8 credit - can you imagine my frustration. That’s it from over $200 in 2 years with 0 usage and I get $8 because it’s so close to my renewal date. The customer service rep Sofia says no need for upper management as they are all trained and the same answer regardless of escalation. Feel this was a very poor customer experience

I am even more upset now and will never ever ever recommend Cornershop regardless of the situation.
And now they are part of Uber - so not even sure I’d stick with Uber or Uber Eats.

Wow an $8 credit - biggest joke (I know, my bad, and it’s on me, but suggest if you have ever registered with Cornershop - pay special attention to these auto-renewal).
I don’t believe anyone at Cornershop actually cares about the customer. Buyer/Subscriber BEWARE

I've dealt with Oliver and really…

I've dealt with Oliver and really didn't appreciate being lied to.. They have a lovely assortment of things but the dishonesty kinda spoils it for me and my friends. Maybe a good lesson in treating others the way you want to be treated... it's a small world and public attacks have a way of bouncing back. Just a thought to ponder with respect to the people out there you pick on.😞

It was really the worst job I had

It was really the worst job I had, every time the application is upgraded, they lower the shopper fare and make unfair decisions.
If was zero star I gave them zero
They deactivate my account with out any reason that they told me

Account suspened for a reason they keep…

Account suspened for a reason they keep for them, despite having never used the service, honestly having no reason to be suspended. No way to appeal. I had never been notified and just lost an 2 hours + with the order and service chat.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Ordered two times a product, which on the website was seen as available. Both times got a call from the driver that the product is not available and the orders were cancelled. Additionally the fees are expensive so one cannot increase the tip too much. What is the point of advertising things that are not able to be sold....I would be very angry if I ordered lets say a couple of products so the fee would be worth it and then half of it was not available. Not recommending

The only routine with these guys is half your order doesn't come, every time. It could have something to do with very few of the drivers able to speak english, so my guess is, they are unfamiliar with many of the foods we eat here in Canada.

Additionally, I think they have a warehouse if broked damaged items use to replace your products that are claimed to be not in stock.
The cheap hotdogs buns were not in stock but of course they had the expensive one that were pre chewed b mice. I would provide a picture but for some reason this site doesn't want you to provide too much evidence.

Will charge you twice

Was charged TWICE. Once for when I initially placed the order...they took a hold of the estimated amount..my total bill came to less than the hold amount but instead of crediting me back the balance they decided to charge me again and left me with a negative balance in my bank account.
Now faced with an NSF fee from my bank and no accountability on their part whatsoever

I ordered 16 pieces of fried chicken from Safeway Deli and when Cornershop delivered it to me was Petrified chicken probably sitting in the deli case since early morning that day. the Chicken was so bad and dried out that I threw it in the trash. This is not the first time Safeway and my shopper delivered petrified chicken.
Safeway should be ashamed of themselves selling not edible food like this. I officially never shop at Safeway or Cornershop again. I would have thought the cornershop shopper would use common sense not to purchase food that does not look good!
Shame on Safeway and Cornersop!

Overcharge on my bill was removed

I wrote a bad review this weekend because I had an outrageous overcharge in billing. I had ordered small packages of chickenRamen noodles as part of grocery order. Cost: $1.56. The person shopping called and said no chicken, is beef ok? I said yes. Next morning I found I was charged over $35 for 4 small packages Ramen noodles. BUT I was able to contact Conershop rep and they dealt with problem. Dont know why this happened. It never should have! But they did rectify the situation.

Longtime client, Awful experience

I've previously been overcharged by Cornershop. When I reached out politely asking for an explanation, they were dismissive, and blocked me from the chat.

Recently, I was overcharged again but it was almost $100, so I asked Paypal for help. During the investigation, Cornershop reps tried to pressure me into ending the claim. Paypal advised me not to, and I eventually won the dispute.

Since then, Cornershop has blocked my access to their services, and are claiming that I owe them this money back to have access again.

Top customer service!

I placed a grocery order to an address in Toronto (Canada) that was never delivered, despite what the app initially said.

The speed of your customer service team allowed me to get the refund in record time.

I would trust them again!

Garbage

Garbage. Their delivery person delivered only part of our groceries to our door. They must have realized that they didn't deliver our whole order and later delivered the remaining items to the WRONG ADDRESS! When I notified cornershop about my missing groceries they said the delivery person said they dropped it at our unit and would not reimburse me. This is after spending thousands of dollars in groceries over months. I live in a condo, all delivery people are racked by our concierge. The delivery person LIED and Cornershop believed them.

I complained on twitter as going through the app was a waste of time. They reached out to me and said they'd look into it...and didn't respond. I followed up..no response. Terrible customer service.

Mistakes happen all the time, but the fact that they treated a customer the way they did is terrible. I switched to a cheaper alternative and haven't looked back.

If I could give it 0 starts I would!

If I could give it 0 starts I would. The company consultants are incredibly rude and of no help what so ever. I have had several issues and I would ask the public not to support this company and the makers of it. Rather support Instagacart, they have more of shops, they are friendly, supportive, helpful and prompt. I have never had any issues with them.
