Ongoing issues with my Clementi oven purchase – sharing my experience so far
I’m writing this review to explain the position I currently find myself in after purchasing a Clementi pizza oven, in the hope it helps others make an informed decision.
I bought a Clementi Gold 80×60 oven and, from the very first gas firing, I experienced several issues that I did not expect from a premium product. These included visible discolouration, material appearing to melt or drip inside the oven, concerns about the structural integrity of certain components after only minimal use. I paid for accessories one of which I have still not received three months later. I reported these problems immediately.
Since then, I’ve been trying to resolve the situation through the retailer and a UK distributor. Communication has been difficult at best, the process has been slow and at times unclear, leaving me without a working oven, without a clear resolution and substantially out of pocket. I have provided photos and detailed descriptions of the issues, I am currently waiting for a final outcome from the next phase of this saga which is to escalate the matter through legal channels.
I want to be very clear: this review is based solely on my personal experience and the verifiable facts of my purchase, the condition of the oven and the steps I have taken to seek a remedy. I am not making any accusations about the company’s intentions or practices — only sharing what has happened to me so far so that others can be aware.
I will update this review once the matter is fully concluded, whether positive or negative. My hope is simply that no one else finds themselves in a similar position without knowing what to expect.
