Such a fun Sunday learning a new craft. Everything supplied for an A4 piece of glass applique. Lunch & cream tea was a lovely treat too.
Many other different craft workshops available, 55 I was told! Something for everybody, give it a go! Excellent guidance by experienced friendly tutors. Highly recommended, thank you for a fab day.

Alex is a great instructor. His knowledge shines through as he clearly explains what's we're doing. He lets you learn by doing and you come away with a great piece. I cannot recommend him enough.

My Dad and I had a fantastic day on the beginner's blacksmith course. Alex was a very good teacher and the pieces we came home with were both interesting and challenging to make, incorporating a number of new skills with each project. Would highly recommend!

Another great session with Fiona. I got an unbelievable amount done - she is always looking for ways to cram a bit more practical experience in! A very clear, organised teacher who is committed to learning through doing. Small group sizes, so plenty of attention. Great value for money and another new skill learnt!

Going into this Blacksmith course at Nigel Barrett Blacksmiths knowing nothing about the craft, my friend and I came out with a greater familiarity with the craft after our one day visit. Nigel is undeniably talented and generous. We were given the tools and instruction to create four items although if you are looking for a learning experience I would say this course has more of a social atmosphere than you may expect from a workshop. The company Craft Courses made the booking process straight forward.

This course was an absolute joy! Designmakers21 is a wonderful venue. It was filled with inspiring art, kind people and a calm atmosphere which nurtured and nourished me in my time there. I felt instantly at home, such is the welcome.
Steph is an excellent teacher - fun, thoughtful, encouraging and supportive. She gave me courage when mine was waning at several points. She was able to instill a sense of success and achievement even when I couldn't see it. The leaded light making (I did remember, Steph!) was very exciting and the result was something of which I can be proud. Highly recommended!

First class instruction and excellent experience. Also came home with two very nice swords!

This is the 2nd time I've purchased a gift voucher (email) and it has always gone through very smoothly with the recipient getting it almost immediately and then being very pleased to use it towards choosing a craft course or unique hand crafted gift.

Alex delivers an absolutely fantastic course and he was so conscious of making sure he shared his time and expertise really well between the three of us that attended. We're super proud of the axes that we made and it was all down to Alex's teaching skill! It was such a fabulous day, and we will definitely be back!!

The day was extremely well organised with abundant resources. The tutor, Judith, was welcoming and helpful, supportive when needed. It was a lovely activity altogether.

What an amazing course again. Holly is a fantastic, informative and patient teacher. With her vast knowledge and experience, she is one of the best educators. I had a little free motion experience, which Holly taught me last month, this helped me to grasp the concept of using free motion sewing, along with fabric, to produce a picture. It also gave us experience of dying silk fabric along with cotton. Well worth attending one of Holly's course, would highly recommend them, they leaving you wanting more. You certainly don’t need any previous experience to enjoy one of these courses. Thank you Holly so much, hope to join you again in September.

I have received a great experience, made a very cool ring for myself with a tutor help! And she was also kind to give my idea a go and helped to bring it to life, transforming to a special ring.

I have recently attended the ‘Slate Mosaic’ workshop at Jo Garden Art.

What a welcoming place, great knowledge, location and teacher.

The materials were expansive and the tuition very informative and helpful. Jo really does make you feel capable no matter what your level of creating and ability.

This is the second course I have done at Jo Garden Art and I’m sure I will be back.

Booked a 2on1 session for my wife’s birthday, Claire was very friendly and welcoming. Took us through the full process of what we would be doing and how everything works.
Then we got to build our fused glass project. Definitely can’t wait for them to be fired so we can see the finished product.

I did the forging course at hammer and hounds and loved the entire experience. Getting to do something amazing like forging and then you get to keep what you make and use it every day as a memory - it’s by far one of the best things I’ve ever done. Alex is a great guy too, I probably just could have spent the day watching him make it look incredibly easy. It’s worth every penny.

Was a good day out, very educational. He was very willing to step in and help people at the various steps knowing when to step in and when to step away. Great day, very educational.

Wonderful course. Fiona is a whirlwind of energy, determined to give us as much hands on experience as possible. Amazing to be printing so many examples of paper and making two books in one day! Highly recommended if you like to learn by doing with someone knowledgeable and extremely well prepared, so that you can get on with the doing.Also if you like going home with something special to show for your efforts!
