Great classes…
I love watching the Craftymonkies classes. The tutors are of a uniformly high standard and being able to re-visit the class for a period of time afterwards is really valuable.

Sewing retreat
It was a fabulous weekend with like-minded people learning new sewing techniques in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Rachel works so hard to give people the best. That's not only at the retreats but also for the online classes.

Very friendly and accessible
I recently attended the CraftyMonkies retreat and had a brilliant time. Very friendly and accessible with generous, sharing tutors, lots of interaction and activities, great food; all hosted by the wonderful Rachel Pierman, for whom no little request was too much, who made us smile and whoop. This was not a one-off - CraftyMonkies has supplied excellent Zoom workshops with interesting tutors for a few years now and all have been excellent.

Thank you so much, Jean. I'm always glad when I get reviews about the customer service and communication skills, I want the classes to be amazing, but I also want people to feel comfortable in the preparation of the class as well so this is really good to hear!
Learn new skills at affordable prices!!
CraftyMonkies offers a wide variety of classes with knowledgeable instructors. I always learn a new valuable skill when I take a class. Plus, it's helpful that you can rent the class for 60 days and watch it again if you need to. The classes are very affordable but I love the occasional discounts that are offered as well.

Classes were informing and FUN
Classes were informing and FUN. The others in the group bonded quickly which made the days more fun. My sister and I have signed up for next year’s classes in Wales.

Mathews Fabric Weaving class
Could not watch the ZOOM in real time so I have been watching the replay. It is very well edited. I am sure it was longer - probably with minutes that were not necessary in a rerun. I don't feel like anything was cut out that needed to be there - and some fast forwarding where needed. All in all I am very pleased with the class and will check for more that may interest me.

Thank you so much for the comment on how well edited the class was. You are absolutely correct, it was longer! When I edit a class, if a teacher has taught a technique and then there is a 20 minute section where conversations have happened and nothing new has been seen, I will edit down the video as the chat taking place may not be so relevant if you weren't in the live class. But I make sure the technique is fully explained and repeated so the viewer, like yourself can understand what is happening and is able to pause the video until you are ready to move on. This doesn't always happen, but I do edit every single class, to make sure the content is smooth and easy to watch, and if there are any camera mishaps or anything, they are erased so its seamless (ha, seamless, see what I did there?!) I'm so glad it appears my techniques are working and you really enjoyed the video. Do keep checking, I offer a variety of classes and it would be wonderful to see you again, or of course have you watch the video!

I absolutely appreciated every single American guest who turned out for our inaugural retreat. Although there isn't a retreat in 2025 I am determined to come back in 26 and I hope to see you then!
Brilliant class
Brilliant class! Dee was amazing and the class was very enjoyable. It was well run, yet not clinically so, and great to be able to make a complete dress in the time allotted. I have taken a few classes with Crafty Monkies and have loved them all.

Rachel!!! So many lovely aspects of this well-designed retreat. I felt the hotel was lovely! Great location and clean. The attendees, the instructors, the Amish day trip and the room setup were great! I loved meeting dear Nicholas, a long time quilt idol. But none of it would have been possible without our dear Rachel!! Well-done and bravo!!!
