Hi Robert! Thank you for the suggestion. We understand why having a printed copy could be helpful.

At this time, we don’t send hard-copy printouts of DNA results for security and privacy reasons and the printed copies don't reflect any real time updates that may be available. However, once your results are ready, you’ll be able to view, download, and print your reports directly from your online dashboard at any time.

This allows you to keep a personal copy while ensuring your genetic information remains secure. Please let me know if you’d like help accessing or downloading your reports when they’re available. At this time, we do not offer raw DNA data download or upload, and we understand this may be disappointing, especially if you were hoping to use your data with another service.

The reason we do not provide raw data access at the moment is tied to privacy protection. Raw genetic files are extremely sensitive, and once they are downloaded, they can become vulnerable to unauthorized access, data mining, or misuse by third parties including pharmaceutical or analytics companies without a customer’s knowledge or explicit consent. Not only your information is compromised but our secured algorithm as well. Our policy is designed to minimize any possibility of a data leak and to keep your genetic information as secure as possible.

That said, we do recognize how important this feature is to many customers, including yourself. We’ve added your name to the list of users requesting raw data access. This feedback is something we actively review as we work toward a secure method of providing raw data in the future. We are currently exploring connections to a reliable DNA database that would allow us to offer this safely. Once it becomes available, you will be among the very first to be informed.

At this time, our system is not connected to other DNA companies’ databases for privacy and security reasons. Each company uses its own database and algorithms, which means relative matching is only possible within the same platform.

That said, we’re actively exploring ways to expand our database in the future while maintaining the highest level of data protection for our customers. We truly appreciate your feedback — it helps us improve and plan for new features that matter most to you.
