Great food, recipes and convenient delivery!

So far my husband and I have enjoyed every meal. The portions are generous and we picked up the 4 servings options so we’d have lunches, as well. One week, a spice mix had been forgotten, but I was informed before I ever noticed and it was delivered right away so I could make that recipe.

Last week and this week, missing ingredients. I have the items in my own pantry, but that's not the point - the reason I buy these kits is to make the whole experience easy and have everything at my fingertips.

The food is good, but it's definitely better when everything is included. These missing items were both seasoning related and, as I find most of the dishes somewhat underseasoned (and I correct for that), not having them in the recipes really didn't help.

So much about the service is great and I'm really glad it's around but I do have a few issues with it. Depending on the dish the portion sizes vary quite a bit, almost making it less economical and possibly not worth the subscription depending on what you choose (the stuffed mushroom cap meal for instance--each serving had 6-7 small mushroom caps). Most of the dishes could use a bit of an extra punch and I find myself adding extra spices and flavour but I know this is a personal preference. The packaging of the meals also varies--greens kept in silicone bags last WAY longer than loose leaves in the mesh bag, you need to be strategic with which meals you eat first because greens will definitely wilt by the end of the week. Overall some of the recipes are great, some a bit middling, none have been terrible. Sometimes it seems like it's worth it, sometimes it seems like it doesn't, just depends!

I have enjoyed the recipes and the recyclable, reusable packaging.
Also, I have found the site easy to use.

For the week of Monday Nov 27, we ordered two dishes, in part because we were not convinced by the options provided - we didn't find think the options to be filling. We order the Shashuka and the mushroom soap. The shashukah was good - a bit small for 4 portions but overall satisfying. However, we were really disappointed by the mushroom soap. The outcome was just a couple of mushroom floating in the salty broth - the cashews did not thicken it enough and without anything to accompany it, it was a rather light meal. We chose to skip the meals for the following week, in part because we didn't think they would be worth what we pay for them

Delivery and packaging great! Food tasted okay.

They collect containers and ice packs back. I'm not vegetarian, but loving the taste of every recipe made so far. Ingredients are very fresh, they last 2+ weeks in the fridge. The recipes are simple. Love the premade sauces which save time. Meals are fast and easy to prep, and very manageable even when caring for a new born baby.

It would be super helpful if the recipe cards were included in the bin. There were jars that did not include any numbers which was confusing to figure out where it belonged. Also, if fhe produce was prepped (peeled, cut, grated etc...) I would have probably continued with the service.

Meals are really tasty and easy to prepare.

Crisper Kits is the best meal kit. I love the recipes - the spices and flavours are so much more interesting than other kits I've tried! I love that everything is plant-based and the fact that they're zero waste is important to me. I would be REALLY, REALLY, REALLY upset if Crisper Kits was no longer available to me!

Product arrived on time. Produce is fresh . Instructions are easy to follow. Really enjoyed the meals we prepared. Best part is it’s environmentally friendly.
