Great system for pure water, removes fluoride
I have owned the 3 stainless countertop purifier for over 6 years. I chose the one removes fluoride. It works great and I don’t have to change the filters for 3 years. I love it and tell everyone to buy one, much better than bottled water. Great company, excellent customer service. Was in the water business but we never sold smaller systems like these. Perfect for an apartment or small house, this is all you need, doesn’t take up a lot of space and works very well. Don’t waste your time looking around, just buy from them, you won’t be sorry.

Love the unit
Love the unit. No need anymore to run to the store to buy drinking water. Changing the filter every 3 months is doable, but I wish there was an "allowed-gallon-flow" indicator, that shows when it is time to change the filter.

I purchase a home water filter which after two years stopped working. I think the filter was too small for the house size. But there was really no one to consult with on the best system. Also, it was difficult reordering the cartridges because there was not a good record of what I had purchased or the representative didn't know how to assist me

Thank you for sharing your experience. Although the purchase and difficulties you described occurred a few years ago, we understand why the experience remained disappointing.
Looking back at the original order, it does appear that the system selected may have been smaller than ideal depending on your household’s actual water demand. In that situation, the cartridges can reach their capacity sooner than expected, making it appear that the system has stopped working even though it may simply require service or replacement cartridges. More detailed sizing guidance at the time could have helped provide a better experience.
We have since made it easier for customers to access their purchase information. Previous orders and compatible replacement products can be viewed by signing in at https://accounts.crystalquest.com. If an older order is not visible or the correct replacement remains unclear, our team can also retrieve the order history and identify the exact cartridges needed.
We would still be glad to review the original system alongside your household’s current water usage and determine whether new cartridges would restore its performance or whether a larger configuration would be more appropriate. Please contact us at help@crystalquest.com, and we will make sure someone assists you directly.

Hi Jeni, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re sorry the unpleasant odor you're describing has persisted. Historically, many areas throughout California are well known for having hard water, making the source-water chemistry particularly important when selecting the filtration media or system configuration.
In your system in particular, the Eagle Redox Alloy (in the SMART filter) can interact and convert hardness compounds into calcium ions, while the calcium-based GAC fluoride cartridge may contribute additional calcium minerals. Together, these stages could produce water with a higher mineral content, which can sometimes affect its taste or odor.
Fortunately, the solution may be as simple as changing the cartridge configuration. At no additional cost to you, we can manufacture a custom fluoride-removal cartridge using activated alumina instead of calcium-based GAC. If needed, we can also provide a customized SMART cartridge containing less Redox Alloy to help make the water taste and smell less mineralized, without interacting with the feed water hardness as much.
