Croma in Basingstoke are useless. Please don't go there.
I got 5 keys cut, NOT ONE SINGLE KEY FITS THE LOCK OR WORKS!!

Excellent service and advice from Croma in Winchester. They have given good value solutions to missing keys (managed to find a matching key blank and cut it to the lock), replacement window locks and improved door locks. I would recommend the Winchester branch.

Sold me wrong part and refund is not been paid.

Excellent service and cheaper than many other key cutters. The new keys didn’t work first time around, so I took them back, they were rejigged and now they work perfectly.

Croma locksmith went out of their way to come on 2 occassions to give us a quote, to rebuid the mechanism in the door to be able to fit a slam shut lock, they did not charge us either for that call. the engineer Shaun was kind polite and professional. we will definetly use again

visited Shirley ,Southampton branch about broken front door lock. 30 mins later new lock had been bought and fitted. Staff in branch and fitter Shaun -brilliant. Knowledgeable expert and efficent. Thankyou

Visited the Fareham branch yesterday to have a couple of keys cut and what should have been a really simple job turned into a complete hassle.

The first keys I was given didn’t even go into the lock. I then had to drive all the way back from Waterlooville to Fareham to get it sorted. After they recut them I went home again, only to find they still wouldn’t go into the lock, which meant another trip back again! In total I had to make three journeys because the keys were cut incorrectly!

It’s incredibly frustrating when something this basic keeps being done wrong, especially when you’re wasting time and fuel going back and forth just to get a key that works.

What’s also disappointing is that despite the inconvenience, I wasn’t offered any kind of partial refund or goodwill gesture for having to come back three times to sort out their mistake!

I had actually arranged to come back on Friday to get a spare key cut for my car, but after yesterday’s experience I definitely won’t be doing that now.

Really poor experience overall and not somewhere I’d recommend.

We have been using Croma for over 20 years, they have created and maintained master lock systems for our rental properties, we have occasionally needed to use their emergency service which has got us out of bother, but probably most impressively we have never had a bad key cut, they are always spot on.

I called in to Croma in Shirley to buy a replacement spring for an interior door handle. Although there wasn't a suitable spring in stock the staff were able to find one from some old stock. They were able to fit the spring for me which was more than helpful.

I Started with a key blade and a damaged circuit board. Andrei worked his magic and voilà 1 fully working key

Living in a very remote area, (Falkland Islands), getting a replacement key cut to a code can be challenging and near impossible.....thankyou Croma Southampton Shirley St for going that extra mile and making it so....Leon Medhurst....you are a star!

Turned up out of the blue and had several keys cut with no issues, excellant service, at a resonable price.

Rob from the Portswood branch was fantastic today. Punctual, really friendly and polite. He identified the problem with the lock and fixed it on the spot - also explaining what he had done. Stayed long enough to make sure that everything was working perfectly. Can't recommend him/them highly enough.

Winchester branch 17 July 2024.Very helpful and friendly guy cut us a lot of keys and was very kind in throwing in a few free fobs. Excellent quality keys and a helpful chatty member of staff. 10/10.

Extremely helpful, provided replacement spring for door latch (£2). Where others would only advise on a new unit (£30). Great service.

Popped into the Totton branch of Southern Stronghold and was very impressed with the breadth of knowledge and professionalism shown. It was an "old fashioned" experience in all the best ways!!
