I'm not giving you my number as you already had it. I'm not emailing you because I don't want to give you my email. And I'm certainly not wasting my time and minutes calling you.
I've deleted and blocked everything number you tried to contact me on mainly because you provided no contact information beyond a link just like scammers do.
Whether your genuine or not I wouldn't rate you very highly at all. As if this is an error on your part and you used my number by mistake you've got some poor person out there who most likely wondering what's going on with there care.
But I'm not surprised given your reply to me no apology and wanting me to do the work.

Really bad excperience
Really bad excperience. i am going through divorce , didn't work for few mounths. went back to my account / it is not working.
Contacted curam , they said my account not activated any more as client wanted to pay directly. I asked to provide me evidence as i feel discriminated. No evidences/ just simple reply ... that my account is deleted.
Feel bad, as i haven't done anything.

Carer for one night
My experience was mostly good. I had a bit of difficulty in paying but that resolved. I was able to get a carer quickly and we were able to communicate fairly easily. I didn't have an opportunity to meet the carer beforehand but that was probably because I didn't have much time between booking and needing the carer.

So far so very good
This is the third time that we have had our Well-being weekends supported by Curam Carers. The app is easy to navigate and the ability to communicate with carers before events is supportive to all. Posting jobs online has yielded excellent responses and the carers engaged have performed above expectations. Both ourselves and Carers are reassuringly well supported by Curam HQ staff.

Curam has been an excellent resource…
Curam has been an excellent resource for finding carers for my mother-in-law. Their staff are checked, insured and their website makes it easy to search for suitable staff. Being able to message or talk to carers directly was invaluable in finding the right person.

A great help for finding emergency overnight carer
We needed a carer overnight, to take over from a paramedic and prevent an unnecessary hospital admission when we were away. Curam came to the rescue. I could post a job in minutes despite never having done something like this before, and an excellent carer applied within minutes, and arrived within half an hour of us asking her to come - AND we couldn't have been more happy with her attitude or care. We may have just been blessed with the right person at the right time; but I'm very grateful to Curam for providing the platform I needed. Yes, it was expensive, but for overnight work at short notice that is completely reasonable. THANK YOU!

Computing glitches
I have found Curam Care a very efficient and friendly company. As a 73 year old pensioner I often experience difficulties with computers. Recently when I had difficulty with an invoice I found the staff very friendly and helpful whether they were in Edinburgh or Dumfries.
I think they are one of the very best companies on the internet.

Curam has made great home care possible
Curam has made it possible for us to find several excellent caring live in carers for my mother really easily, which has enabled her to stay in her own home and have a great quality of life instead of having to go into a care home. I will always be grateful to you for this. Thank you so much

I wouldn’t recommend this platform
I wouldn’t recommend this platform - they delete your messages between you and the carers you are trying to communicate with and they close your job adverts without informing you.
Their support is non-existent and the only time I’ve been able to speak to them they were extremely pushy and rude.
They take a very large percentage of the carers’ earnings so you would expect a high level of professionalism but unfortunately this is not my experience.
I’ve tried this platform a few times over the past 3 years and it’s been disappointing and frustrating every time.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We take client and carer safeguarding very seriously. Carers are thoroughly vetted before being approved on Curam and we require their information to be updated continually. In the case of the carer you contacted, her account was temporarily suspended while we awaited the uploading of her up-to-date DBS certificate. Once we had that, her account was reactivated and her messages were once again visible to you.
The carer’s fee is 15% and they are advised at interview to factor this in to their rates. This fee provides them with marketing to current and future clients, accounting and tax advice, membership of NACAS, free online training and ongoing tech investment in the Curam app to support them as lone workers in the care sector – this includes important safety features such as an introductory meeting log, and safety feature by which carers can alert trusted contacts with their exact location.
With regard to closing job posts, we do this periodically at the request of carers to keep the board up to date. Furthermore, carer availability changes, so an applicant who applied last month may no longer be available. Therefore, we advise clients to create new job posts for current needs. Clients can create and close as many job posts on Curam as they wish, at no cost.
We called you the day you registered, as we do all clients, to offer any support you might need, but there was no answer. A few days later, Deanna called again to advise you that the carers are self-employed. The record of the conversation noted no issue. Debbie emailed you with advice on how to proceed once you had found a carer and your reply was most amiable. We also facilitated your wish to pay via WECIL rather than, as usual, through our third-party payment system.
Perhaps you could email client@curamcare.com to let us know which interaction was rude and I will make sure to follow it up?

I have been working for Curam for many…
I have been working for Curam for many years as a PA. My clients and perhaps I am very lucky are simply wonderful people. I believe in great communication, well self managed, flexible to be successful.
My clients are most of the time for long term care and I do feel being part of a family rather than a carer.
Curam support for clients and carers has been fabulous.
Working together facing challenges of the care sector is the only way forward.

Makes running a sole trader business easier
I am a care giver and have now had experience with this company over a year. Although I think that their fees are unnecessarily high I cannot fault their services.
They are very good when you contact them with questions or queries.
Making invoices and updating your profile is very easy and it has given me me the opportunity to work with wonderful clients and realised my dream to run my sole trader business on a full time basis.
