Curry & Paxton's glasses and sunglasses are legendary. A large dollop of cockney-flavoured Tinseltown on your nose!

The service is always excellent too.

My only disappointment is that their marvellous little shop has now closed. I do hope it reopens. Nothing beats the personal, face-to-face experience of choosing what the rest of the world will see on your face. And beaming with that choice!

Simply straight forward process to order and try the frames at home. Quick delivery on both the trail frames and my final order. Love the frames I ordered ! I had my optical lenses fitted by my local optical, if I had my exact prescription I would have opted to have C&P make them. Wish they still had a bricks and mortar store.

Apart from the frames themselves (top-drawer), the personal care and attentive customer service is why I have acquired three pairs in five months. Thank you, C&P, for being accessible and responsive, and for the unflagging good cheer.

I've wanted to buy a pair of 'Ipcress' frames for ages and finally decided on the iconic dark tortoiseshell sunglasses actually later featured in 'The Italian Job' in order to establish whether they suited my fairly narrow face shape. Whilst not as universally suitable as Ray-Ban Wayfarers, they are beautiful, comfortable and offer great glare and UV protection. The build quality is outstanding and packaging equally high-end. The company immediately responded to my request to change an original choice of frame colour and delivered them in very good time with a reputable courier offering a tracking service. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this proud British company again, and in fact have already done so. A great buying experience and thoroughly recommended.

I bought a pair of sunglasses and was so pleased I'm going to get a pair of regular glasses as well. Excellent quality and great prices considering what the mainstream designer brands are charging these days. Ordering was straightforward and delivery was quick so all round experience couldn't be better.

Lucy from Curry and Paxton was very helpful as always and always prompt at replying to emails. I love the new design Yvan frames and think C&P are spot on with the new Made in England range. Will be upgrading my shades soon too!

Proper customer service. The quality of the Sean sunglasses I purchased is remarkable, but the whole experience of dealing with Curry & Paxton just stands out. As an EU-based customer, I needed the Statement on Origin to be exempted from paying import duty. Lucy was so helpful and supportive in sorting it all out for me. I cannot recommend them enough.

Great communication throughout, prompt and safe delivery, quality packaging and the sunglasses are fabulous.

I’m sure many people such as me, miss the Curry & Paxton shop and hope that it may one day reappear.

However, until that day, Curry & Paxton now use a ‘try frames by post’ and what a great service it is. There’s nothing that compares to physically trying frames on, ‘trying frames virtually’ using the website works but I’m fussy & old fashioned so like to try frames personally,

The ever helpful, professional and friendly staff are always amazingly ‘on it. They sent frames out for me to try, which were received in a day via UPS and I bought two frames included in my ‘try on at home’. All this took was a couple of days and sales done.

I would strongly recommend we all continue to support Curry & Paxton by using ‘try frames from home’. The products are undoubtedly classic, chic and timeless as is their customer service (thanks Lucy & Brooke).
