Husband is very happy with his new bar! Great service

If it wasn’t for the lack of communication and delayed delivery of 3 weeks. I would have given them 5 Stars. The bar was built exactly to my specifications and to a good standard but they need to improve on their customer service experience.

Ordered the bar as soon as I see it online. Few negative reviews but I ignored them and glad I did. 2-3 weeks for delivery. Had a email to confirm the delivery day a week before it was due. Had a text on the day saying the driver was an hour away and kindly waited for me as I was running 5 minutes late. The bar was exactly what was shown online. Really nice craftsmanship and I can't fault it at all. It's really smart. I wouldn't hesitate to order more from here.

Ordered over Facebook, quick response , tasmin helped me choose the correct size and placed the order for me , she was very helpful. It got delivered the next week! Very happy with my purchase and the service I received!

Ordered a bundle set on 20/5 which was told 21 days including delivery. Was delivered 2 weeks after the 21 days only for not all items to be delivered which nobody informed me of. I’m still awaiting my barrel table and have had no information about when this will be done or delivered, it’s been another 2 weeks since the delivery day so overall has took 7 weeks and still don’t have my full order. They do not inform you until you contact them and they just say they’re understaffed and overloaded. Stop taking orders and focus on the ones you haven’t even finished yet!

Ordered a desk for my shop on the 13th May which was supposed to be ready before my shop opening on the 27th May (the reason we ordered from here) it did not arrive in time infact was 28th of June before they finally issued a refund. They were also very poor at responding to emails and when they eventually did reply they said they would be intouch when it was shipped even though we were waiting so long. Eventually they said it was shipped but the courier lost the shipping label, then we were told it was shipped again but we still never received the desk.

Overall very disappointing, they either ignore emails or take ages to respond. Cant comment on product as never received.

The only person i found helpful was the lovely lady on facebook messager who passed on messages for me when my emails were being ignored.

I Ordered the custom made ice barrell at the end of march, it was over a month late but I understand they had staffing issues...when it arrived I filled it up and it had loads of leaks, I spoke to them and they said they would send a replacement....that was 6 weeks ago......I have chased them up twice and had no correspondence, in the end I have had to fix the barrell myself, the lid provided was flimsy and has warped badly. Overall the product was of a pretty poor quality and I was expecting better from a professional company.

I can highly recommend this company very easy to deal with and met my every needs. My bespoke bar finishes off my man cave perfectly.

I ordered an L shape bar and stools for my partners 40th in February - still not received in middle of June. Communication has been terrible. I’ve emailed numerous times and there’s a great delay in replying before making promises that don’t get delivered upon. I was finally promised on 30th May that I would receive my purchase and a refund for the delivery cost within 7 days and 10 days later I have received neither and no explanation as to why. Really, really disappointing. In a time when people’s money means so much, businesses should be grateful for the custom and fulfilling orders made in good faith to support them.

Terrible at communicating. I ended up chasing them for a delivery date, no show, then chasing again. The table itself is great (barring some rough edges I had to sand so that the splinters don’t get people) but the stools are too short so they’ve become plant stands and I’ve had to buy stools that actually mean you can use the table. Returning the stools seems completely pointless considering the faff to get everything in the first place so this was easier. Not a company I would recommend for the breakfast bars to be honest.

Ordered an L shape bar, stools and bar shelf.
I ordered this with a logo and double checked it would have it, was delivered without and then they tried to charge me for it.
The quality of this product is awful and I would not recommend to anyone.
The paint wipes off on your hand when you rub it, it’s just cheap pallets nailed together.
Customer service even worse, I had no productive answers to my questions, just that I need to return at my own expense, or a sarcastic sorry so sorry email. Avoid this company.

Great product, well made and extremally fast delivery, more than happy with the service and quality.

Paid but No Delivery & No Response

Ordered and Paid in March.
Missed 1st Delivery on 10 April
Missed 2nd Delivery on 25 April
So far I received nothing.
Email is the only Communication Channel. So far no response.

Hi Paul,

You’re welcome to take us to a small claims court - however you won’t get anywhere as our terms and conditions clearly state delivery fee is non refundable and collection is also chargeable.

We waived the £25 administration fee for you.

Our large bar and children's picnic table arrived this morning. We are so pleased with both products, which are extremely well made and look great. A huge thank you to all at the Custom Wood Company. We will definitely be back to add to our collection in the future. I would highly recommend this company.

I had my under-stairs cupboard built, The team displayed really good service the whole thing only took a day so was a lot faster than I thought it would be, The overall result I’m really happy with, I have re booked them for more work, highly recommend !
