Honestly, this just wasn’t worth the money. The service was overpriced for what I actually received, and the turnaround time didn’t justify the end result at all, I also missed out on opportunities due to how long it took. The CV came across as very generic, overly wordy, and didn’t do anything to make me stand out. The design was also quite plain and didn’t match what was advertised.

I ended up having to rewrite most of it myself just to start getting responses. As for LinkedIn, the account had issues not long after and I couldn’t even access it, which made the whole experience even more frustrating.

If you’ve never written a CV before, it might be useful as a starting point. But otherwise, you can get the same level of quality from much cheaper (or even free) online tools.

Brilliant service from Matthew and his team. We were contacted quickly and Matthew did a review over the phone with my daughter to talk about her CV requirements.

The CV was exceptional in both content and the professional layout which was above and beyond anything we could do.

I recently had my CV and LinkedIn profiles re-written by CV SOS and I am very pleased with the results.

The process is iterative and requires patience and perseverance. Providing detailed feedback takes time, but the improvement between the first draft and subsequent iterations was exponential.

Absolutely everything is up for grabs, from writing style, font size, page layout, line spacing, use of colour, the list goes on, over and above your career content.

Initially, I had reservations about my CV coming out looking the same as every other ATS-friendly CV. Unsurprisingly, the more feedback you provide, the less generic and more personalised your CV! I certainly ended up with something I recognised as me.

Matthew and his team were always prompt with their replies - certainly more prompt than I was - and never stopped asking for feedback.

I have been trying to find a permanent role for a while now after freelancing for many years. Although I have a lot of experience and transferrable skills, I have been having trouble conveying this to potential employers and even though I had a CV, it just wasn't standing out from the crowd. Very fast and very professional

Fast service, good quality work and excellent customer service

I developed my own CV after over 20 years in the same role, what can I say things have changed. I applied for roles and was not getting much in the way of success. I researched about 10 CV writing firms and from reading numerous reviews on trustpilot, I decided to use their services.

From the initial approach to the response to my e-mail was less than one hour, and within 4 hours I had a 30 minute telephone appointment where I was able to address all my concerns, I ended the call confident in the fact that I knew they were aware of my requirements.

There had different services available and within approximately a week, I had a draft CV ready and I was able to review it and make the necessary changes, until I was happy with the final product. When I reviewed the first draft I was extremely impressed, it stood out and the style was very striking.

Certainly worth every penny, even a friend of mine who was against me spending money on the service, was blown away by the quality of the CV, which made me feel even more vindicated in choosing CVSOS. Even since completion of the service, they were complete an additional request outside of business hours within an hour.

The only tinge of disappointment was that I felt the covering letter that was provided as part of the service, was not of the same calibre as the CV. I reluctantly give out 5 stars, as you can always do something better.

But outside of the above comment, I have no complaints and I would highly recommend them to anyone who reads this.
