I eventually found the bike I'd been trying to find for years at Cycle Exchange. Nothing seemed too much trouble, with the picky adjustments I needed until the bike felt right. It's my first experience with D2i gears, what a huge difference they make. One of the main criterion was caliper brakes, as I'm not a fan of disc brakes, which it had. The bike looked as though it was straight from the showroom. Hazel did all the fine tuning for me until it was good to go. If you want a great bike Cycle Exchange is the go to place and prices are not as eye watering as some Cycle shops north of the Thames! I

I purchased a 2025 Trek Domane+ AL5. It was delivered via a dedicated courier and was as described. I had it set up on my turbo trainer the next day and I have been very happy with my purchase.

A friend recently bought a road bike from Cycle Exchange and recommended them. I test rode three of the gravel bikes they had in my size (I’m 6ft 3). They were really helpful all through this process. I’ve riden it twice since and loved it. There is a niggle with the gears slipping, which the workshop have identified as a slightly bent hanger. They’re preferring another and will fit it under warranty. A small nuisance but sorted out with charm and no friction. Great sales, great after sales.

My bike was delivered within 24hrs of ordering and was in perfect condition.

Unfortunately not a good experience. I was given a price for my bike which I accepted. A gentleman came round my house and thoroughly checked the bike. There were scratches around the bottom bracket. This was photographed and sent back to Cycle Exchange, there and then. Despite the scratches caused by the chain coming off, the BB had been replaced last quarter of 2025 well after the scratches were caused. Both myself and the gentleman that came to check and collect the bike, agreed that if these scratches had damaged the BB housing, the BB would not have been replaced. When the bike was taken back, it was rejected because of the scratches. It is now on its way back to me after having paid £50 for packing and carriage! Wasted my time with a £50 charge on top. I would have expected the chap that came to inspect, would have had the authority to reject it at the collection point. Would think twice about recommending.

First class service provided by the team at Cycle Exchange. Exchanged my trek to buy a factor on the cycletowork scheme and dealt with Max who was brilliant in explaining the process and making it all very easy. So pleased with the new bike collected in from the shop and even got a complimentary coffee! I would highly recommend purchasing your next bike from these guys.

Another incredibly well executed workshop investigation and remediation by Mo and Todd. Anything I’ve got that wasn’t built by cycle exchange is now getting the pro treatment from them. What a relief to find professionals who have the desire and capability to get it right first time providing useful information along the way.
