Danske Belfast Glorious journey from Luton international airport

Flying to Belfast ten square takes 40 minutes from Luton airport a cup of tea in the air and you are their brilliant frequent bus service into Belfast. Ten square hotel is awesome and Belfast is a glorious place a plain and bus is about £ 80 it is a glorious journey and the train to Dublin is a superb line . But you will need an overnight stay . Danske Bank staff are pure class . Very easy enjoyable day trip like a walk in the park . I have done it numerous times.

They used to have very good customer…

They used to have very good customer service. Now, it takes days to hear anything back on a single message, and claims take weeks. There are automated responses talking about 'a high volume of claims etc' at all times.

Danske bank in Portodown lied

Danske bank in Portodown lied, cheated, did not provide services, although they promised to provide them. They led me by the nose, forced me to call somewhere and report the pin code. They do some kind of machinations with the money I deposited. This is the worst bank. Do not keep your money there, because it can disappear from the bank. Young kids with absolutely no skills were hired into the bank. Maybe their plan is to disrupt the banks' operations so that people don't visit banks.

I find Danske Bank staff especially…

I find Danske Bank staff especially kind +helpful. I am really pleased with the service at Comber Banking Hub where Danske Bank staff are available to help + advise on Wednesdays. The online service just gets better with practise. Also there is good scam prevention provided. Thankyou, Danske Bank.

Tried to make a £200 P2P transfer on…

Tried to make a £200 P2P transfer on Binance to play on my crypto casinos around midnight when my money went in.

The payment was executed and taken from my account; yet the USDT crypto seller couldn't release my crypto as he had not received the transfer to his account.

This caused an appeal to be opened on Binance (by the seller) and some major embarrassment to me.

I showed him proof of the transfer and insisted it must be an error on his end.

So I contacted Danske to see what had happened and was told there was a "Manual Handling" put on the transfer meaning it was flagged as a "High Risk" transfer and to ring at 9am.

After ringing at 9am I was told she would NOT authorize the payment despite my insistence that she make the payment and that the seller was trusted...I commented that my past P2P transactions on Binance I received a OTP txt message to confirm it was me attempting to make the pyment and why I did not get it this time?

She came up with some BS excuse.

I told her she had NO RIGHT to tell me who or how I can and can not spend my money and if I fell vitim of fraud due to this transaction then that is my responsibility and not hers.

It goes to show that Crytpto currencies are a huge threat to banking institutions despite me using it for gambling.

What next? Red flagging gambling sites? Would not be surprised!

I think I will be putting as much of my money into crytpto currencies from this point forward to get away from this financial dictatorship of the banking institutions!!!

There is no excuse for not executing a payment I explicitly told her to execute...IT'S OUR MONEY!!!

I have since switched banks for my income to go into.

Very poor customer service went to to pay a cheque was told that they could not take this why it my money in my account after a chat with the another staff member it was OK, then tried to order a cheque book as some company's only take a cheque 20 minutes later I got want I wanted. Not the first time had problems with ballymoney bank ,will use Ballymena in future

I have a DK account with them, and would suggest trying some of the other banks available in Denmark. Poor customer service, and not really set up for International Banking, or Banking in the modern era.

Zero Stars

Zero Stars – Danske Bank is Useless

If I could give zero stars, I would. I phoned Danske Bank because a company called VistaCreate had taken money from my 17-year-old daughter’s account. Let’s be clear: she’s under 18, legally a minor, and not even allowed to enter into binding financial contracts in the UK or Ireland. That means any agreement or recurring charge can be cancelled, no questions asked.

I explained this to them, thinking they’d do the right thing and reverse the charge. Instead, I got the usual robotic nonsense: “We can’t help you, we won’t help you.” Really? A bank that’s supposed to protect customers just shrugs its shoulders when a minor is charged?

Here’s the law in plain English:

Under 18 = minor. A minor cannot legally consent to long-term financial obligations.

Contracts with minors are voidable. That means they can be cancelled at any time.

Banks have a duty of care to protect vulnerable customers, especially children.

But Danske clearly prefers hiding behind policy instead of protecting families. Maybe they’re too busy raking in fees to care.

So, parents — be warned. If your child is under 18 and falls victim to charges they shouldn’t even be liable for, don’t expect Danske Bank to back you up. They’ll tell you it’s your problem.

Absolute disgrace.

Unbelievable

Told danske bank i needed over 5000 in cash they asked what was it for,this is none of their business.I told them anyway they said they couldnt give me cash& wanted also to see an invoice reminded them that this was my money still refused to give me cash.Went another bank & got the cash no problem.What sort of muppets are running danske bank

Very poor service

International transfer went wrong the bank was difficult to contact as the transfer had been done in a branch any queries had to be at the branch the contact centre could only e mail the branch and wait for them to come back
When you went int the branch they could not speak directly to the international division so was left high and dry in the end it took over a month to resolve
As a result I left Danske after banking with northern and then Danske since 1970

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful…

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful at Bloomfield branch in Bangor! Nothing too much trouble and helped me access my account online and change my address! Very relaxed and Stephen from Danske bank made the experience so easy to do. I have to say even when I phone Danske bank they are really helpful and you don’t wait too long . Thanks again

Power of Attorney problems

I've been trying for 3 years to get Danske Bank to accept a UK court authorised Power of Attorney to manage my aging mothers affairs. The four other financial institutions she uses have accepted the PoA and have been working well. Not Danske Bank. More hurdles put in the way and still she cant get access. If you are getting a bit old I suggest you move to another bank before its too late.

esterday December 10th i used the ATM…

Yesterday December 10th i used the ATM outside this bank,Omagh N.ireland. The ATM didn't return my card. Manager said because i didn't bank with them this happened. People need to know this information. I was disgusted and appalled at the managers excuse and lack of empathy. Christmas season and i have to wait 5/7 days for a new card. Please be very aware of this happening to you.

Poor service and communication

I have been banking with Danske bank in norther Ireland since 2017, after relocating to England i opened another bank account.

For over 1 month I have been in regular contact trying to get paper statements sent to my address. They have assured me multiple times that these have been actioned. Still, after 4 weeks, I have received no paper statements. I have also advised them on multiple occasions that I can no longer access ebanking, however, this is the way they attempt to contact me instead of using the email, phone or address I have provided.

It is an incredibly time consuming, disappointing and frustrating service. They will only try to help if they are getting your money or business.

incredibly SLOW!

This bank are holding up the sale of my property to buyers taking a mortgage out with them. Firstly they don’t operate like most UK mortgage companies which do everything on a fast, efficient online portal to solicitors. No, they do everything by snail mail. Mortgage offer took 10 days to come through when it could have been minutes! Now we have been waiting a further 2 weeks for a simple response, to proceed. They are being chased everyday for a response and cannot even give a timeframe! Unbelievably useless! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!
