They sent me the wrong size on a skirt I ordered. I contacted customer service and they sent me a return label and said they would send the right size once the wrong size was in transit. I dropped off the wrong size at the post office and sent them the transit info. I haven't heard from them since, despite sending them multiple follow up messages.

Edited to update that they did eventually respond and I did eventually get my replacement skirt in the right size. The customer service rep said they had been out sick and that's why they didn't respond in a timely manner, so keep in mind that there's apparently only one person working customer service there.

I was initially very cautious of Dark Cottage having never heard of the company and gotten burned before, but I had a great first experience! I ordered a dress and belt from them a week ago and they shipped almost immediately. They provided regular email updates and a shipping tracker. When the clothes arrived, they were wrapped beautifully and the package came with a return slip in case it didn't fit/was damaged. When I tried on the dress, it was true to size, well made, and exactly as pictured. I have now washed the clothes and worn them to work. Everything held up fine in the washer and the dress is flattering. I am already looking forward to shopping there again!
