I sent in a drive full of 30-years…
I sent in a drive full of 30-years worth of family photos that was clicking.my rep talked it up:
we can get a lot of data
It’s looking good
Requires you to pay up front before telling me what they could retrieve. Was told $4k. Couldn’t afford it at that time.
I felt held hostage- if I didn’t pay, would I get my drive back to get second opinion?
Offered $2500. Paid the money, got almost nothing back. Less than a thumb drive worth, and no family photos. Just collapsed.
Got the drive back, sent it for a second opinion- was told the drive was blank.
I was speechless. Fairly certain they destroyed my original drive because I couldn’t afford the $4k.
Worst experience I’ve ever had.
The follow up call (which is probably recorded) said “Maybe next time you’ll use multiple backups for important things”. That’s it.
I’ll never recommend this company for anything important. You’re welcome to reach out to me :765.251.3963
