counted the number of separate screens it took to finish creatting an account out of curiosity, and it came out to seven distinct steps before I could actually see anything on the site
Each one only asked for a small amount of information, which on its own seems reasonable, but stacked together it turned what should have been a quick signup into a longer process than I expected going in 😤

In my experience, this app appears to be driven more by making money than by helping people find real connections. The filters for age and location don’t seem to be respected, which makes the experience frustrating and misleading.
I also found myself questioning whether some of the profiles were genuine because many interactions felt artificial and seemed designed to keep the conversation going and encourage paid subscriptions.
If you’re looking for a serious dating platform that respects your preferences, this wasn’t my experience. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I too used this site for the first time after only a few message chats I was asked to pay for credits in order to reply …..most of the profiles are in the USA …..still don’t know whether these are genuine real life people I’ve been chatting to or just automated imaginary figures conjured up by Dating Lagoon to entice you to spend more money ……what’s more is that I paid 24€ about an hour ago had a few texts and letters which I replied to and the 24€ had now gone ……used ….done and dusted …..I won’t be renewing that’s for sure

I recently joined this dating site because it mentioned meeting people locally. The men that have responded are all in other states. I haven't been able to find out how I know which ones are from Florida, which is my state.

Dont be fooled. I spoke to exactly the same profile on this site as i did with datingsmatch.com and she didn't remember me.
These sites are obviously fake. The exact same profile did not remember me from the previous day on a different site Lol
