I needed a small stool reupholstered to complement a new settee I'd purchased. David went above and beyond in helping me choose the perfect fabric, offering thoughtful suggestions and sourcing great options. The quality of the finished piece is outstanding—thanks to his skill, my Nan’s beloved stool is set to last another hundred years!

We now have two chairs from David - one that was already mine and he recovered, and one that he sourced and brought back to life for us. I love them both! The quality is excellent and he also helped us in finding the right fabric that would work well with each chair. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a special piece of furniture.

...purchasing my refurbished armchair from David. It's the most comfortable armchair I've ever sat in. David's modern upholstery transformed a vintage chair into the 21st century. But it deserved a footstool. David quoted a fair price for the one I already owned. His workmanship brought the two pieces together like a perfect marriage. However, for the past week I wake up in the mornings with my dog claiming my new armchair as her overnight bed. So it seems we're both very happy. Thanks David.

David delivered three pieces of work for me. Two completely re-upholstered and now seriously comfortable ‘bucket chairs’. Both beautifully restyled with additional lower back support cushions, a much appreciated detail. The chairs’ comfort is widely appreciated and now competed for by family and visitors alike. A third commission comprised a total transformation of a jaded old couch into a now stand-out gorgeous piece of furniture. David helped find the pattern of material I wanted, advised on the most serviceable fabric , and in addition on a treatment to make the kelim type fabric more dirt resistant. David helped me (with great patience) to decide on a fabric suitable to reupholster a pair of comfortable chairs I’d bought from a friend. The finished work exceeded my expectations and we thoroughly enjoy using these chairs daily. I was so happy with them I also have two more armchairs, different styles and both beautifully finished in fabrics chosen by David. I can highly recommend David and his work.

David was so generous in helping me find the perfect fabric sample and did a beautiful job of reupholstering a chair he had available for my living room. I bought a refurbished armchair from David… his work is exceptional, this upcycled piece of furniture is now in ‘as new’ condition but for a fraction of the price of a brand new armchair of comparable quality. David will work with clients to refurbish furniture to their spec, advising on fabrics / details that will work from aesthetic and practical perspective.
