Ian Bradley corrupt worker

I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding the inspection carried out by Peter Bradley on my Range Rover.

Mr Bradley was appointed by the finance company, which immediately raises questions about the independence of the assessment. An independent inspection should be exactly that—unbiased and thorough. Unfortunately, this was not my experience.

The inspection itself was extremely limited. My vehicle was not properly examined—there was no use of ramps, and the assessment appeared to consist of little more than starting the engine on my driveway. As a result, the report produced was both incomplete and inaccurate.

Crucially, my vehicle had undergone a full engine restrip prior to the inspection, and I have clear evidence that a serious fault was present at the time of sale. This was not properly acknowledged. Instead, the report made only a vague reference to a crankshaft seal previous repair and failed to address the significant underlying problems.

Additionally, I was informed that fault codes could not be time-stamped or linked to when issues occurred, which is misleading. Given that the vehicle was inspected just six weeks after major engine work, it is entirely reasonable to associate the current faults with that work, particularly where components had been disturbed.

I was also concerned by unprofessional remarks made during the inspection, including personal opinions about Range Rover vehicles that were irrelevant and inappropriate in a professional context. He also told me he wife wanted a Range Rover and he told her no, and told me to "fire the car". I live decile 8 area which means my neighbourhood is among the top 20-30% most advantaged areas in England. It indicates a relatively low-deprivation area compared to national statistics, which ranks areas from 1 (most deprived) to 10 (least deprived). I have no idea why would make such an odd statement as a professional i would never take his advice nor did i find it disguised under a joking context even funny, He did seem a very odd man not a one you want to have your address or poking around my drive , i;m also surprised he even had a wife. My car should have been towed to a local reputable garage for in depended diagnostics inspection i was fooled by words like !we will appointment this! and "inspect at your drive blah blah blah". they don't want anyone professional looking or a diagnostic report done it which is against them they want you to trust them so they can manipulate the evidence and leave out important points to assume user fault or these things just happen new faults can occur at any time, company is not even English, reputable or well known, never heard of them before in my life until they were appointed.

Overall, I do not believe this inspection met the standard expected of an independent expert. The lack of thoroughness, failure to address key issues, and unprofessional conduct raise serious concerns about the validity of the report. i was sadden by this in all honestly the affect this had on my family and being non mobile for children schools etc and emergencies is soul destroying a car is a big part of someone life and livelyhood.

Had an audit with this company sent out…

Had an audit with this company sent out by the garage when I wanted to reject my finance on a faulty car. The inspector stated that the car was satisfactory and ultimately made the ombudsman side with the finance company, we have since voluntarily surrendered the car as it was unusable and the finance company has sent us a letter admitting that the car is not up to satisfactory quality and has mechanical faults of up to 2000 pounds, which was our complaint in the first place. the audit was completely wrong/bias towards the garage in his findings and caused a long drawn out process for us causing financial stress, if he had have done his job properly then we wouldn't be in this mess. we will be seeking compensation for this and would like the inspector investigated

Would give 0 if i could as saw a post thats asked to review - when you put 0 ear conditions it didn't allow you to continue (as it wanted you to put some sort of ear infection) maybe this company should be honest in their reviews

I'm going to tell you the truth, base of reviews rating makes my story clearer.
never and ever seen such an idiotic company before, Dekra unilaterally assesses customers and reports are not based on truth.
dekra will take the car without doing inspections and come back later with extra costs, the usual way is to create a report on the spot, have customers sign to agree and then take the car with them.
Remember, earning money unjustly brings a lot of misery!

They lie about warranty claims. Parts clearly damaged and caused issues. These lot take money to lie they make sure they always side on the company that appoints them. Biased engineering company with biased reports. Avoid at all costs

Do not use this company.
They charge you for nothing, i had my vand book't on 20 and they never came on the last minit they cald me to let me know about this wen i tried to call back they ware gone, they lie whit everthing they do. I was charged for a service that never happend i ask't for a refound and they hang the phone. So do not use this company

Inspection Showed 2 counts of fraud

RAC attended a breakdown of my car car for clutch failure. They could find no evidence of fluid loss end the car had been in the same position for 3 days. They took it to their RAC Repairer who carried out a full inspection and they too found no fluid loss and diagnosed contaminated fluid. They returned the car to me as repaired and roadworthy.
The first time I used it the clutch leaked fluid all over the drive.
Dekra did a report for the warranty company to establish wear and tear and not a sudden breakdown so said it had been leaking fluid for 1000 miles.
When I saw the report the claims date had been backdated and when I had the car returned to me I took a photo of the mileage to show that the garage had claimed I had done over 3 times as many miles in the car since their bodge job repair and they claimed i had used the car for 8 days which is fraud. On questioning why the claim had been backdated, rather than the warranty company offering an explanation they with-held my car from me for 3 weeks. I rely on my car to get my elderly father to and from hospital and so when he was told that the tumour they had removed was the same cancer that killed my mom he got distressed and had to spend 3 hours in a hospital corridor unable to get home.
I ended up having to take the garage to court only for them to claim I was just being vindictive and they had the support of the warranty company.
They claimed that the original diagnosis was a 'typo error' and that they hadn't inspected the concentric slave cylinder for leaks as it would have meant £450 in labour charges to do so and said that they had told me about low fluid level and that I opted for a cheap bodge repair instead. REALLY !. Why would anyone do that to a car under warranty.
Fortunately the judge was critical of how dishonest the garage are however it couldn't be proved that they had caused further damage than if it had been repaired properly in the first place as your report stated wear and tear and the garage played on this. DISGUSTING. The judge couldn't understand why the garage giving you fraudulent mileage against the car was such an issue. It means that when you went in with the instruction off the warranty to report on why the car suffered so much damage on it's last journey then what you should have been addressing is why it's last journey was the first journey it had made since the garages bodge job repair.
I have since discovered that mine was the 2nd car they did that to in 5 days.
When dealing with anything RAC related then you soon find out their middle name is 'Scam'.
I would point out that this inspection took place on 22nd July 2021 but it has taken this long to go through court.

They claim to be independent - my question is how you can provide independent service if anything will go wrong "Dekra" will let you know that: "Please be advised DEKRA is a private company and we are not regulated." When you ask about complain procedure they will sent you to their customer who pay them for the report... I'm not gonna mention that their engineers was not able to see obvious faults and parts of car body that has been painted. I just wondering what is the reason of existance such a company?

Rubbish, unprofessional Customer Service

Having contacted dekra following an incident in February, I was advised that an engineers would contact me. 6 weeks later, more than 9 chase up calls later I have still not received a call back. We are now in September and my nothing has been done.

I would not recommend this company to anyone

No ownership of anything
