I have the italy- wine-map and it is used a lot and very good.
Now i ordered it to give it as a present.
I think € 75.00 for sending is outrageous.
I ordered it at delongwine.com and find out afterwards Amazon charge only $ 19.00 for sending
I used your wine tasting form in an educational presentation for my colleagues. They were both excited and confused by the descriptions that wine could have. Good material to help you consciously cultivate your senses.

Item arrived crushed.

The maps are great but the packaging and shipping was not ideal. Both of the maps I got were creased upon arrival and the cardboard tubes they came in were somewhat squished. For 30$ a map and shipping I expected more care in the shipping and handling.

Was hoping I'd be as enthused about my cheese chart as I was about my periodic wine table. I purchased the the first wine chart (and have the related 2nd edition book) which was printed on a good quality paper that had a matte finish. As my original faded, I ordered the 2012 update and am disappointed with the wine chart dated 2012 and the cheeses of France chart because of the quality of the paper. It's glossy rather than matte and creases easily. I was hoping to laminate it but it would brown in a laminating machine. Likely I'll frame it using glass. Content is fascinating!

Thanks so much for your review and honest comments about the paper quality. We've tried several different types of paper over the years and remarkably received more complaints about the expensive Mohawk uncoated vellum that your first wine chart was printed on. We're now printing on a fairly standard 100 lb Finch matte paper without lamination. The colors are brighter on it as it is coated paper stock. It seems to be a good all rounder with no complaints until now.
In the very near future, we will be offering all of our maps and prints using on heavyweight archival 160 lb paper with pigmented inks using the giclée system. It will cost more than our current maps as a premium option.

I ordered their wine regions maps of Spain, France and Italy to be shipped to Ireland. Initially my order got lost but they shipped the day right after I contacted them about the delay and it got here very quickly and very safely packed. Great quality product too.
