DO NOT BUY FROM DENIM TEARS. I purchased an expensive pair of shorts as my son's birthday gift. Because they were a gift, I wanted to be sure they could be exchanged if they didn't fit. I carefully reviewed the product page, which did NOT say they were final sale. I also specifically read the return and exchange policy to confirm that I could exchange or get store credit and it said I could. Based on the representation that they could be exchanged, I purchased them. They turned out to be way too big for my son. But, when I went to exchange them, while the returns portal stated explicitly they were "exchange only" (and STILL says this), the portal would not let me click on the box to exchange them. I contacted the company, and they said the shorts were final sale and could not be exchanged. I never would have purchased such an expensive pair of shorts if they had been advertised as final sale. I specifically purchased them because they could be exchanged. I contacted the company with this information, but they were unwilling to allow the exchange. Based on the reviews below, I see I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint but have not heard back from the company.
