DESA has been such an amazing organisation; organising events for all children to participate in and enjoy regardless of background.

My boys love attending the free rugby sessions on a Friday evening and also the ice skating sessions provided at a reduced price! They were so excited to attend the boxing World boxing championships; if it wasn't for DESA they would never have had the opportunity.

I have been recommending DESA to all of my family and friends and would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the organisers! Thank you!

The DESA team are really doing a great job. My son always looks forward to his football session on Saturday mornings. The coaches are great. they get the kids motivated. Big shout out to Abdul Malik, his knowledge & coaching skills are exceptional. The rest of the team go above & beyond with all the hard work they put in organising all the activities they provide at affordable prices.
People of all backgrounds are involved, which is great to see in the community, which is what its all about. Keep up the great work DESA. We are really grateful for having you in our community & for everything you do for us.

My son has been going to DESA for over 2 years. He has some learning disabilities and the coaches at DESA look out for his needs, they help and encourage him loads.

My son is so fond of Kamran and the enthusiasm he has towards the children is amazing. Kamran will always go up and beyond for my son and the rest of the children.

They have a really good bunch of coaches at DESA, so proud of this team.

Friendly welcome by many of the key staff. The children love the football, amazing facilities and great community feel. Great to see the diversity of kids in attendance.

I Have worked for DESA for over 2 years , in this time we have managed to get kids in the community to take part in various sports such as : Cricket, Football , Basketball , Boxing just to name a few. We've managed to take kids from taking part in said sports to competing in them and I've also been responsible for taking them to national sporting events in conjunction with partners. All of which are experiences that most wouldn't normally get the chance to do within the community. The business has also extended to offering tutoring services , to also rewarding members with trips and experiences they're likely to remember for the future. As part of my time I've seen shy kids develop and mature into young adults through socialising at our sessions in which they have found confidence but also made new friends. Through working with local partnerships most of the sports and other services are either offered at a low cost or are free. From my experience I believe it's made a real impact in the community.

DESA provide something like no other organisation - fun activities along with expert coaching. All activities are led by really good coaches and it’s amazing to see how they connect with the participants of all ages. Recently it’s been really nice to see that the young adults that used to take part in the activities have been given training and certification to lead sessions! Amazing to have them in the community! Thanks!

We are so grateful to DESA for their incredible support in helping our childrens settle into a new environment and pursue their love for sports. Having recently moved to UK, we were unsure how to get our child involved in local activities. DESA made the process so much easier by guiding us through registration, connecting us with other families, and even provided equipment and advice on the best programs for our child’s age and skill level.Their dedication to helping newcomers is truly commendable. Thanks to their efforts, our child is now part of a football team , has made wonderful new friends, and feels much more confident .It’s been a wonderful experience for the whole family. We highly recommend DESA to other families navigating similar challenges.

Also we would like to express special thanks to one particular member Kamran brother from DESA organisation for extra effort and kindness you have been showing us since we joined DESA. Kamran has been providing help and support actively and going extra mile.

Thanks to your help, Taha is now doing good in the football team and has already made new friends. Your encouragement and advice also gave us the confidence to get more involved in the community ourselves.

Fantastic experience, the staff are really enthusiastic and passionate coaches. The kids really look forward to Saturday futsal sessions. Can’t praise DESA enough.

Great service staff is friendly and supporting.I definitely recommend DESA to every1.

Events are always controlled and DESA maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Our family has been involved with this group for years and it has been great for all ages. The younger kids have loved the activities which are well organised, and it is rare because older teens have their own activities and enjoy those too. The only thing missing now is more stuff comfortable for older teen girls and it is a shame the women only activities have stopped. Highly recommended for families with kids of any age to join and make use of whatever activities and trips suit you, there is such a variety!

You guys have smashed it. Love all the sessions at EIS, you’re giving back to the community and it is definitely appreciated 🫶

They always include as many people no matter the background. DESA is an association where those who work and those who join in their whether it is one time or a couple of sessions, every one has fun and feels welcome.

DESA is a fantastic platform for the young an adults. I did go to the session they used to do at EIS for ladies only which was amazing , but all of a sudden stopped doing the ladies session very disappointing. I would request if those sessions can start again would really appreciate. Otherwise they are amazing keep it up.

Large groups of children attending activities which is great but with very few volunteers/staff, sometimes only 1. Really could do with more adults per groups there, especially with the charity money the academy gets. This allowing children to get equal attention rather than the same ones. Great for community and kids, mostly for older boys or sporting events in frequent free mixing environment which is slightly worrying for our boys.

Absolutely had a great time participating in boxing as well as participating in other sports and activities with the young youth and many more fun memories to come.
