We had an excellent experience at The Design Centre. We went in looking for 2 wedding rings, diamonds and platinum were on our mind, but hadn't thought of the designs. Madi was amazing, she was so helpful and informative. There was no rush and nothing forceful. We walked out with 2 stunning rings, with great help from Madi and all the staff to be honest. We'll definitely be shopping here again.

Louise helped us search for our wedding rings, she was very chatty and listened well to what we needed and gave us lots of welcomed advice.

A quick visit to the Jewellery Quarter today…. And in the rain …. I found light!
Enter “Design Centre” on Vyse Street.
So…. There are MANY shops to choose from, indeed I’d just been in another - but I decided to buy my item from here.
Louise and Tina are the ladies that helped me…. FANTASTIC dress sense, amazing toenails…. Great advice and for once in this day and age … some genuine banter and service skills.
Initially not having what I wanted, nothing was too much trouble for the Superhero types as they trawled the cabinets to find a suitable chain.
A good price, I didn’t haggle.
All gift wrapped and ready to roll.
The store is nicely lit, a good selection of jewellery and watches.
Keen prices….. big deal eh?
Yes it IS…. It’s intimidating in some stores - judged by your spend or attire!
Not here!!!! I was made to feel welcome and my business appreciated.
Also, if what I have bought isn’t quite right (it’s a gift) we can exchange or upgrade etc…. (This is NOT a consumer right when buying face to face, so it’s lovely to be offered this assurance).
There are a dozen or so similar looking shops along the pathway … but stop off here and I think you’ll go no further.
It’s easy to park above in the council multi storey - and all I can say is “keep up the great work” and please, to anybody who has read this far - pop in and have a browse.

Had the best shopping experience today. This was the first shop we went into as it was next to the car park. We were interested in buying a yellow gold and diamond tennis bracelet. Madi was very helpful and showed us a number of designs. We decided to have a look at other shops but they couldn’t match on price or style. We ended up returning and bought two diamond bracelets. So happy with our purchases. Will definitely come back.

We cannot praise the staff at Design Centre enough, but in particular Gemma who was patient, knowledgeable and helped us throughout our visit. Would we go there again? 100%. This shop is our new 'go-to' place in the jewellery quarter. Thanks Gemma

We tried a few places in the Jewellery Quarter to find an engagement ring, but the Design Centre stood out as by far the most knowledgeable, welcoming, and hospitable. Gemma was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and helpful—and she made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable.

We rated her service so highly that we travelled all the way back to Birmingham from Leicestershire to buy our wedding rings from her!

Would highly recommend the Design Centre to anyone looking for quality service and expert guidance.

Having walked around the Jewellery Quarter browsing for a few hours, we wandered into the Design Centre and meet Gemma. She was very friendly knowledgeable and patient as we finally found the design for us, whilst also getting us the best price. Thank you Gemma.

I was looking to buy something special for my wife to cellebarte our 40th wedding anniversary. Not really knowing what I want I visited several shops in the Jewellery Quarter. Having nearly given up I came across the Design Centre, as soon as I entered I felt relaxed browsing the displays. Then I met Gemma who could not have been more helpful and polite in assisting me. Needless to say I left with a very nice ruby neckless which my wife was very pleased with. I would strongly recommend visiting the Design Centre, as the the service you get is second to none.

A huge thankyou to Bina at the Design Centre for her amazing customer service. From the moment I walked in, she gave me some fantastic advice and help in which to buy an engagement ring (something I had no idea about!) I was a tricky customer who needed the ring made in a short amount of time due to a holiday. Bina however worked her magic to ensure it would be ready! The staff were so friendly and even after exploring the other outlets on the jewellery quarter, the design centre had the best competitive price and personality and I’m so happy to be using them!

We shall be returning for the wedding rings (let’s hope she says yes!!) Thankyou again!

I have just bought the most gorgeous ring for my 25th birthday. The lady who served us, Gemma was very helpful and professional. She helped me find my first piece of sentimental jewellery. We have shopped at the design centre for many years and they have never failed our family. Thank you x

My husband took me to the Jewellery Quarter for me to choose a diamond ring to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.We visited quite a few jewellers but couldn't see what I was looking for. we then visited the Design Centre and met Daksha who was very experienced, helpful, patient, kind and understanding as I tried on lots of different styles. I found the perfect ring and was blessed by a great discount.
We collected the ring today and the fitting was perfect.

I had a very warm welcome by Ben, and he took me through rings in general, as I have little knowledge about it. He made me feel comfortable, gave his honest opnions, and offered me a few hundred pounds discount too! I was very happy with the service I was given on the day of my purchase!

I recently took my wife shopping to the jewellery quarter. After looking in a couple of places we arrived at Design Centre. We were warmly greeted by Gemma and after deciding on an item I then saw an item for myself. As Gemma was serving my wife, Dave came and assisted me with my purchase. His customer service was great. I received a warm welcome, without it being pushy. I felt completely at ease while perusing the display cabinets. I was able to try each of the pieces that I wanted to have a closer look at. And once I had decided it was lovely the way that Gemma was just casually chatting while preparing my items for sale. I would highly recommend the Design Centre and Gemma’s customer service.

During Christmas week my husband took me to the Jewellery Quarter to see if he could find my Christmas present. After going to many stores, we came across the Design Centre and was greeted by Tina who was lovely. She helped me choose the perfect bracelet that was out of my husband’s budget, but after a generous discount, I got the bracelet I fell in love with. Went in after visiting multiple shops in the JQ for my wedding ring. Was served by Ben who was a superstar! Super patient and a perfect combo of offering guidance and letting us have a good look at what we wanted. Went to many jewellers looking for a wedding ring for my wife-to-be and ended up at Design Centre. We were served by Tina & Biyna, who both took time to show us various rings and made many suggestions on style, shape, etc. Ended up with an unusual 'u' shaped wedding ring which closely fitted around the engagement ring. Perfect! Would highly recommend this store for your jewellery needs.
