Bought a hib steam free mirror for £332.50 4 years ago, stopped working after 2 years. Tried to have a qualified electrician look at it recently and he said it’s faulty. I’m beyond disappointed because this was supposed to be a long term investment. Wouldn’t buy from here again if everything is made to be with planned obsolete in mind.

I have not received the toilet I had ordered, I was given a delivery date almost 2 weeks ago now (8th March 2024), no communication whatsoever, no live chat available as no agents available (although I did get through before ordering to check stock) my mail came from luxpad group, I was also sent another email confirming the order from bathroom design concepts, the payment wen to affordable rads. I am waiting for PayPal and Barclaycard to get back to me as I have opened a case against them. AVOID! If I had not had the communication beforehand, I wouldn’t have ordered at all based on the reviews, if you don’t trust the reviews, bare minimal you can fo is book using credit card and PayPal. DO NOT USE DEBIT CARD

Scamming thieves!! Placed an order weeks ago and tried to contact them via their 'chat bot' but it just takes you around in circles with no actual chance of contacting anyone. Plus they have lots of random other sites, all owned by the same crook. I did at one point receive an email saying my order was coming, but since then I've heard nothing despite me emailing back numerous times. And noticed today that all their websites no longer exist!! So absolutely no way of getting money back unless I call the police who probably can't help anyway. I hope these fraudsters get caught as a lot of people have unfairly been scammed and left out of pocket :(

Check the other companies they operate and have operated previously you will see the pattern. Avoid at at all costs, you will be ripped off

Where is my refund?
Needed urgently to replace a leaking bathroom tap, and saw Designer Bathroom Concepts not only offering taps at a good price but more importantly, a free next day (24h) delivery. Placed an order, then received an e-mail confirming the order and asking to choose a delivery slot which was almost in 2 weeks time. Contacted customer services to cancel my order, and by this time started to panic having seen the bad reviews. Well this was a 1 week ago. Only received account approval for cancellation but not confirmation of a refund, and definitely not refund. Contacted Klarna as they payment was made via them, they said the order was showing 'live' on their system and to contact the supplier again. I'm not sure where I am with these people - I think I'm going to end up claiming back from my credit card company. Based on this experience, I can not recommend this company, this is starting to smell like a scam. AVOID.

Like many others reviewers we have paid this company over £1,000 and have not received any goods or explanation why not.

If you look at the websites for Affordable Rads Ltd, Design Radiator Concepts Ltd and Design Bathroom Concepts Ltd, they all look the same but with different branding. None of their websites offer any contact information. Having checked on the Companies House website, it seems that all these firms share common directors and common registered offices.

Looking at recent TrustPilot reviews of all three companies, they all follow the same theme. No goods being delivered and no way of contacting the companies.

Furthermore, it appears they are part of the Luxpad group at the same registered office which was struck off the companies register on 22/02/2024!

We have sent our information to BBC Watchdog, hoping they will investigate these companies. If you are in a similar situation, I urge you all to do the same to prevent further people being scammed.

Very poor indeed - AVOID.
I ordered a vanity unit, paid over £1,000 and was then told the item was not available. A refund was promised weeks ago but has never arrived. They have had my money for months. Response to my emails stopped completely and their chatbot just sends one round in hopeless circles. A time-wasting and frustrating exercise in futility.

Very strange experience- I ordered a Burlington sink and picked a delivery date which was approx 4/5 weeks away. The day came and I had no dispatch notification, nothing, and of course nothing arrived. I tried to get it touch with the company and realised there is no way to get in touch other than email (always suspicious). I then read the reviews and started to panic as it looks like a scam, I then felt like an idiot as the website did look too good to be true. Luckily, I paid via Klarna, so I was able to open a dispute via Klarna! Lo and behold, around a week after I opened the dispute, the sink showed up! I never got any correspondence from the company- the sink arrived with a random guy with a random van who looked like he had been hired for the day- BUT the sink is perfect! VERY very odd! Giving 3 stars as it feels very suspicious and unprofessional and I wouldn't order from here again just in case, BUT the goods did arrive eventually.

This company is a scam.
I ordered an item (toilet cistern) which was never delivered. They (Luxpad Group Ltd) have no contact numbers or email on their site and all communication through their online chat was difficult and designed to delay a resolution until it was too late to do anything via bank refunds.
As of Jan 2024 they still haven't filed their accounts (Due 30 June 23) with Companies House but are still actively selling online.

The item was cancelled before delivery - this was a bathroom mirror costing £281.20.
My credit card has not been refunded from the payment in November 2022
No response after numerous attempts to contact them - they are basically thieves, please don't use this company

If a product is in stock.. don't believe it.
If they say next day delivery.. don't believe it.

They are difficult to get hold of. No phone. Live chat doesn't work. Web form that tells you not to use it if cancelling. Email is best method.

Their system only lets you choose a delivery date AFTER you have paid.

I ordered a product on 27th November thinking it was next day delivery but then had to choose 5th December as soonest date. They emailed to say out of stock and offered alternatives. I replied to email saying.. no.. just refund.. They replied saying refund will be made by 11th December. It wasn't. I emailed them on 12th telling them a dispute had been raised with Klarna.

Refund was made on 13th

This was a lot of stress and no radiator.

I don't trust them. Not sure if they are dodgy or just strange.

They tried to get Trust Pilot to remove my original review until I showed them evidence of purchase. I uploaded my identification to verify my identity with Trustpilot.

I initially gave this company a bad review because of their communication system (see also affordable rads is same company).They use this so called live bot that seemed to do nothing other than start again. Anyhow, A kind lady called Sarah got back to me (didn't BT say a long time to ago "It's good to talk". Well she sorted out the problem. So thank you Sarah.

We purchased a towel radiator in August 2021 and unfortunately a small rust patch has caused the surface coating to 'blow' in one place. As the item is still in warranty I reported the issue to them and provided the requested photograph. A replacement radiator has been provided without quibble.
First class service in my view and I for one will have no qualms about using the company again.

Order items online…. then told they were out of stock so asked for refund. Have chased refund for over 4 months now and still no sign of it. They have basically scammed me out of over £700. Have referred the case to my bank’s fraud department.

Like many others, I purchased an item from this company and received an email asking me to book a delivery date. This date came and went with no communication from the company and / or a courier. I then phoned them and was sent round an endless cycle of pre-recorded messages culminating in me having to fill in a message form on their website -with a 'Promise' that it would be looked at 'Very Shorty' - I could never get to speak to an actual person. No reply, so I sent another and another and another. Still no reply. It this point I came to the conclusion I had been scammed. I had to go back through my credit card company to get the money back which took months. Thanks 'Designer Bathroom Concepts' Or 'Luxpad Group' whatever your name is - I am reporting you to Trading Standards as you fail to understand the concept that if you pay for an Item, you do expect to get it.

Don’t deliver when they promise to, spurious excuses which a 5 year old could see through, uncontactable by phone despite someone giving their personal extension, don’t respond to live chat or internet enquiries.

Update - did finally deliver, on the 4th day they’d mentioned, having not turned up the previous 3. Previous comments re comms and excuses all remain valid. To be avoided.

Disgusting company, radiator ordered in April never delivered and never refunded, I must have been fobbed off or completely ignored via their contact forms or live chat about 20 times now, they are complete thieves who have literally stolen my money. Avoid at all costs.
