Honestly

Honestly, I wasn’t sure about an online purchase and when delivery was delayed I had a wobble. However email exchanges with the humans, no robots here, were excellent, and the fireplace, fantastic. I’d have no hesitation in using again, or recommending. First class.

Excellent fire and service

We have had our firebox fire for a year now and absolutely love it. It’s a real focal point to our living room with its 3D effect. The heat option is also very good. We had an option of using the log or glass stones and were provided with both. We love the colour menu for the embers and flames.

This company were extremely helpful when we were navigating fire brands for the most efficient. Our delivery was prompt and everything was packed with care.

Thank you for the lovely personalised care we received and the ongoing customer care you provide.

Failure to deliver on time, poor communication

Contacted to ask about feet for a heater. Got through to someone who assured they had the feet and would send them next day delivery on 5 December. They never arrived. Tracking did not work. I contacted again on 18th. Finally in early January after a third effort I got the feet (ONE MONTH LATER, definitely not next day delivery), falling out of a ragged half-open Jiffy envelope, without floor protection or any screws/fasteners (if they existed they obviously fell out of the raggy packaging). They will destroy/tear up my floors if I use them as they are. I regret that I absolutely cannot recommend this company. 20 pounds down the drain for 2 lumps of cheap plastic.

Reply noted. None of this was explained at the time, so review will remain as above. I located screws and tracked down some castors for the feet (I will admit that I misunderstood the design of the feet, and thought they were supposed to have pads, but they were meant to have castors) so I did get them onto the heater eventually, but if the circumstances had been explained at any point at the time, this would have made me feel a lot more goodwill and understanding. However, this does not justify the shoddy packaging or lack of communication.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but we do feel it’s important to clarify the circumstances around this order.

The feet you requested were for a product discontinued over two years ago and are not something we stock or sell as a standard item. As a goodwill gesture, we agreed to manually search our warehouse for any remaining parts and were able to locate a set for you.

The charge of £19.99 covered VAT, postage, packaging, and handling time, rather than representing a typical retail sale of a stocked item. We also selected a cost-effective delivery option via Royal Mail during the Christmas period to keep costs as low as possible.

As these were legacy spare parts, they were supplied as-is and without additional fittings, which would have originally been included with the full product (4 x screws). For clarity, these heater feet have never been supplied with separate floor protection or rubber stoppers, and this has not been a feature of the product across many thousands of units sold.

In terms of delivery, we acknowledge there was a delay and apologise for that. This was not a standard next-day retail order, but a manual fulfilment of discontinued parts which required time to locate within archived stock, combined with seasonal postal delays outside of our control.

We also note your comments regarding packaging and will take this on board.

If you would prefer not to keep the parts, you are very welcome to return them to us for a full refund.

We always aim to help where we can, even in situations outside of our normal product range, and we’re sorry that on this occasion this has resulted in disappointment.

Bought a fire in oct was told it would be here in 3 days no show then got an email saying it would be nov still show the got an email saying dec the 6th still no show then was told it would be here for the 19th still no show I asked for a refund an guess what still no show 👎 avoid this company at all cost

The Firebox 60 you purchased was a new model and sold on a pre-order basis, with expected delivery timings provided at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, these timelines were impacted by international shipping delays during the Black Friday and Christmas period, which were outside of our control.

As updates became available, revised delivery dates were communicated accordingly. Following this, you requested to cancel your order, and a full refund was processed.

We appreciate that delays can be frustrating, particularly during busy seasonal periods, but we did ensure communication throughout and completed your refund promptly upon request.

Terrible customer service

We purchased a Warme Designer Firebox directly from the company. Initially, we were very happy with the product, but we soon experienced issues with both the thermostat and the heating element not working correctly.
Customer support has been extremely poor. The only way to contact them is via email, and the response we received was dismissive, stating they were not familiar with the issue but would speak to an engineer. Weeks passed with no further contact. I followed up again and, to date, we have still received no response.
This is a terrible way to treat customers. If you are set on buying a Warme Firebox, I strongly recommend purchasing through Amazon or another retailer where you have some level of customer protection.
When the unit works, it is great, but based on our experience with after-sales support, I would not buy directly from Warme again

Bought a firebox had it fitted for 3…

Bought a firebox had it fitted for 3 weeks and it stopped working . There’s no way of contacting them except a chat and they get very rude on there . Made us wait for a reply as to where we stood with guarantee and claiming it may well be our fault. Then they decided their insurance said we can have replacement but it was out of stock for weeks and this was Christmas . We were told we could have a refund so we went ahead and purchased from elsewhere and had to have the wall altered first and now we’ve had NO reply from them about our refund and we still don’t know what to do with old fire . Not professional . I almost dealt myself with the manufacturer in china which is all they seem to be doing and selling online via a website . They say chat is there to record everything but also try and catch you out ! Terrible experience. Having just finally read your reply today , I was disappointed to read it was factually incorrect !! . The firebox was in use for 4 weeks not several months .

Your firebox was in use for a number of months before you contacted us regarding an issue. From that point, we remained in regular contact with you via email and live chat to understand the situation and provide support.

Given the timing in December and the nature of the request, we were unfortunately unable to arrange an immediate same day on-site visit, as requested. However, we did offer a resolution, including replacement or refund. As the item was out of stock at that time, you chose to proceed with a refund.

We arranged collection of the unit and a full refund was issued accordingly.

We always aim to support our customers as efficiently as possible and provide fair resolutions, and we’re sorry that on this occasion you feel this was not your experience.

Paid 2.4k up front for fires in production for my shop and was told delivery date end of Nov. Chased end of Nov. and told delay til end of Dec. Requested refund and still waiting for it 3 weeks later.
