My experience with Diáfano has been fantastic. My goal was to not only be conversational in Spanish but to really understand the structure and grammar to better understand the nuance and beauty of the language so that I can one day write and speak with the sophistication and confidence of a native speaker. My professors deep knowledge and passion for the language (and linguistics in general) has been an invaluable asset and has made each and every class interesting and inspiring, and she never loses her patience or enthusiasm when I falter, which is a lot. I highly recommend this program to anyone who has even a passing interest in learning a second or third language.

Everyone was very respectful and helpful. I enjoyed my time working with Irma and her company. She takes the time to make sure everyone understands the tasks, and clarifies it more if needed.

My son has been taking Spanish & Japanese classes at Diáfano for about a year. He enjoys the classes and loves his teachers. They make the sessions a lot of fun and really know the tricks to keep him engaged. I highly recommend Irma and Diafano to compliment your child's learning goals - and if your child likes anime, definitely have him or her try the Japanese classes!

Both the Italian and French classes have been a great opportunity for me to learn new languages. The lesson videos that Diafano offers are the best. They are direct, engaging, and creative!

Language learning with Irma and the Diáfano method has turned what looked like a long, arduous process into something enjoyable and enriching. After having taken Spanish consistently with said company, I am elated to see just how far advanced I am - fluent! I could not recommend this company enough and shudder at all the cheap, low quality alternatives out there!

I did the Diafano video program for the Italian language. It was a lot of fun and I was able to learn at my own pace. The virtual teacher made me feel as if I was in a live classroom setting. I can’t wait wait to try other languages!
