No phone number to ring all they have is a broken system that only gives you an option to create a ticket. “Support team” emails they’re going to review then never does then sends a stupid email asking to review their help. Pathetic and time wasting don’t bother shopping through them I’d give them a negative score if I could

I ordered a product online on the 11th of March and was told it would only arrive on the 28th of April. 7 weeks to deliver to NZ? I questioned why and got no response. I have just been informed that there is a delay and it will now arrive on the 6th of May?? 2 months to deliver something to NZ? That is shocking online service. I will not be buying stuff from Dicksmith again.

Di*k Smith under the Kogan is the most disgusting online platform I've ever used. They did not specify the approximate delivery time. They didn't reply to the emails. 1.5 months after the demand to explain where our goods were, they said that the goods were delivered, that their tracking number showed that the goods had arrived at the address, but when we asked for evidence and tracking number, they did not respond, and did not want to provide evidence. From our side, we checked and have evidence that there was no delivery. As I realised from the comments, many people have the same problem. It looks like this company is simply cheating by collecting money, but not delivering the goods. Previously, this company had a name and trust, now, after Kogan acquired it, only the former name remained and all trust was lost. I don't understand why Australia still doesn't deprive such an unreliable company of its license so that it doesn't deceive people. In turn, I'm going to sue this company, but the lawsuit will be a group lawsuit. A group has gathered that agrees to lose more than it has spent, but to teach this useless and irresponsible company.

Buyer BEWARE! I ordered two items around Christmas time and it is now the mid March and I am still waiting to get one of the items. It is a nightmare trying to contact them about this and they do not update me about this delay. I went to the effort and rigmarole of putting a complaint/enquiry through to them but STILL have not recieved my item, a refund, or any information about when, if ever, I can expect to get my item. Do not trust this company, goods paid for on the 11th Feb. Now 6th March, still have not recieved the goods.
Numerous emails have gone backwards and forwards, giving me false tracking numbers, that N.Z. Post tell me they are not correct tracking numbers.

My first time ordering from DickSmith Online. I remember their physical stores. I’m so happy with my purchase, it’s even better in real life. I’m glad I made the purchase.

First time I have ever purchased a item from DickSmith online. ( never again ) if you need to return something it is near impossible they put to many obstacles in your way and impose return charges in the end I have gave up

Extremely disappointed with my purchase through D ick Smith. The product (dispatched by 'The Shopsite') is NOT local stock—it arrived directly from China with Chinese shipping labels.
It released a nauseating, toxic chemical stench, causing personal physical discomfort.
Despite being described as heavy duty, the mounting board is actually cheap and fragile plywood that arrived already cracked.
It is also not foldable as advertised.
The build quality is entirely unsafe for marine use and potentially hazardous to health. I have refused to return the item as I am keeping it as physical proof to reserve my rights and for potential referral to consumer protection authorities.
D ick Smith needs to vet their third-party sellers better. Do not let greed blind your business ethics and compromise the safety of New Zealand locals. Avoid this product and this seller at all costs.

Extremely disappointed with DickSmith NZ.
I purchased a phone in NZ that developed a fault during normal use. Local repair confirmed parts cannot be sourced in NZ or Australia. Instead of resolving the issue locally, I have been told to return it to Australia.
After extensive back-and-forth and significant delay, there is still no clear resolution. This phone is essential for my daily life and work.
Under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act, consumers should not face unreasonable delay or inconvenience when seeking a remedy. I am still waiting for this to be handled properly.
Terrible after service...beware.
I bought a Logan stick vacuum from them. Took a long time to arrive, but at first worked well...after a few weeks began to switch off after 5 secs
...then it began to dump dust on floor
I have contacted customer service 5 times...get generic email, saying they will be in touch.....nearly a month and have not heard from them. I thought being dicksmith was a reputable company....but they have no integrity. Better off buying temu...they quickly solve problems!! Will never buy from dicksmith again!!!!
Be aware they take money out of your saved account without permission!! Very hard to contact them no telephone contact number!!
They offer free benefits on default and then they take money out of your account without confirmation! No contact numer!!
Don’t use DSMITH or Kogan
So I pulled my last review after Kogan wrote and said they would like to help.
Now , the 4 th email asking for help is still not responded to .
Apart from the paste below. This was in response to a ESCALATION by dicksmith /Kogan.
They’ve gone down the drain. I have received 15 marketing emails trying to get me to waste more money but NO SERVICE !! I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t work in my camera and have been emailing these scammers for 5 weeks !!
This response was the 9 th of January.!!
Simple advice DONT BUY FROM KOGAN OR DSMITH UNLESS YOU ARE 100% the product is EXACTLY what you want. They have proven to have NO INTEREST in helping repeat customers if it means sending a product back.

D Smith advertised black and decker battery, I bought it online and was told it was on the way, the next day i got an email to say it was no longer in stock and a refund was offered, after 3 more emails they finally understood 'yes - refund please'. I then realized I'd somehow gone through Koogan too - who had signed me up for some kind of paid trial where they wanted to auto charge me for sending me emails?? I cancelled but didn't receive confirmation of this, will have to keep an eye on it i guess. Avoid like the plague!!!

Dicksmith was sold to China a long time ago that's why their stores closed and now they're using online websites for customers to make purchases because their products are made in China and sent from China. It's not the same owners or the same store that you used to know. It isn't rocket science people. The rating reviews on their website are probably fake.
