Purchase undelivered after 1 month total lack of communication

Purchased £2039.99 3D TV on 28/02/2011. I have not received the purchase after more than a month. I tried to phone but they are always on answering machine. I emailed and received no response or "we will come back to you". I searched Companies House but DigitalHDMI is not a registered company. The debit from the account is to KEYCOM DEVELOPMENT WOLVERHAMPTON which is not a registered company either. Avoid DigitalHDMI if you want to avoid disappointment.

Lying Cheating bunch of thieves; avoid at all costs

Purchased a £1,650 LED TV through this company who communicated very well until receiving my money 3 weeks ago and then nothing other than a couple of bogus promises but no goods. No one answers the phone and searching their address on google maps shows a rural location alongside a golf course, no businesses there? Hopefully my bank and the police with have luck tracing them done............

do NOT use this! The guy's a cheat!

Ordered TV at the end of September, after a month and a half of phoning and hearing that it's : 'in the warehouse' , 'there's delays', 'someone will contact you very very soon' , etc. I cancelled. Took me another two months to get the money back, as I paid with visa electron debit - fortunately my bank was able to retrieve the money for me (thanks the good people at Halifax btw..)

Avoid this man at all cost, there's a few web addresses he uses, all have similar info just different graphics.

If you have parted with your money, its probably to late!
They take your cash and thats the last you will see or hear from them. I urge you to try and phone them prior to ordering, you guessed it, no answer. Been waiting in excess of a month for an item allegedly in stock. Wolverhampton Trading Standards are more than aware of this outfit and are taking appropriate action. If you have paid by credit card, wait 30 days prior to submitting a claim or it will probably be turned down. Need a name for a court hearing? try Allwhois.com.

Update:
Got a refund from Lloyds TSB via the chargeback scheme, so the 'proprieter' of digital hdmi is now £670 poorer. Hope they stick charges on him as well! Hes a con man who will, Iam sure, be brought before the courts before to long. Take my advice, go to Comet!

Appalling customer service

Like many others on this forum and in hind-sight I wish I had done a search on digitalhdmi.
I placed an order 2 weeks ago and received a confirmation email that my order had been received and was being processed.
After a week and not hearing anything from them I emailed them, no reply was received. I called them the following day and got their answer machine, I did not leave a message but tried a few times in hope I could actually speak to someone but to no avail. I emailed them again that night and yet again, no reply the following day.
I found this forum after searching tonight and am now doubting I will ever see my order.
It actually states on their website how they pride themselves on their customer service and strive for 100% customer satisfaction; what total rubbish, I cannot stress how much I would advise against using this outfit, totally unprofessional.
All I want is acknowledgement that the order has been processed and when I am likely to see it, I now doubt the item was ever in stock like it stated on the website.
Thankfully, I paid using VISA credit and unless I see the goods in the next 2 weeks I will have to go down the road of making a claim.

Update:

As expected, still NOTHING after numerous emails and leaving messages. I have waited just over a month, I have written a formal letter requesting a refund after talking to consumer direct (thanks to Krzychu for the full address) and lodged a complaint with my credit card issuer. I hope this person(s) gets what they deserve

Do not touch these guys...

Unfortunately I too have been sucked in by these guys... They took the money from my account 17 days ago, no receipt, no delivery date. Phone is never answered, they did reply to one of my emails saying that the "despatch department" would be in contact, this is obviously just a stalling tactic.
I have been advised to wait 30 days before taking legal action... does anyone have any other advise please?!!!
Seems these guys have been doing this for a while, I cannot believe that the authorities have not done (or been able) to do anything about it. I really frikkin annoyed about this will try to push for action to be taken.

Frauds - if you've already ordered, it's too late

Shame you can't give minus star ratings. Unfortunately i placed an order with this "company" after the TV i wanted sold out in Dixons, wish i'd paid the extra 40 elsewhere. It now i've is true you cannot contact these people, forget getting replies or through on the phone. They took the 675 from my account as soon as i pressed 'place order', without even giving me an invoice, delivery date or response. God knows whether i'll ever get hold of them, or get a tv or my money back. Stay away

STAY AWAY

Sorry about giving these guys 1 star - As someone has said before these guys do not deserve any stars and they should not be allowed to trade-

I wish I had read this forum before placing my order with them - I placed an order early Jan and then realised that something was wrong - 3 Days later I sent them an email to cancel the order but no reply- I checked my Credit Card statement today and its been charged without an invoice or goods -

SO BE WARNED - DO NOT USE DIGITALGDMI.CO.UK

These guys are unreal

Hey its John again, finally got my money back after 4 months, but not by digitalhdmi's doing. It was barclaycard who got me a refund. And the idiot at digitailhdmi had the front to email me after 2 months of no contact and not answering my emails and calls to say "dear sir we have credited your account please remove slanderous comments from the internet and sent a copy of the email to Page solicitors like i was breaking the law!!! WTF!!! How about Page solicitors take a look at this website and get see your other slanderous customers lol!! Seriously though the last four months have made me ill through stress so thank you HDMI!!!

I would use these again !!

My wife and i have recently purchased a 40" samsung lcd tv from this company like most people we were sucked in by the price of the product..... Only after we purchased the television did we find the negative reviews. After 10 days with no contact i phoned the "customer service number" I have to agree with the others and say that the answer machine does not lead you to beleive that you are ringing a company !! Thats when the panic set in i sent an email and kept my fingers crossed! To my surprise i was called within the hour and advised that they will contact me the next week with a delivery date once the television has arrived from the supplier, true to their word the following week i was contacted and given a delivery date and the consignement number so that i was able to track my delivery via UK Mail. I have sent some feedback to the company rregarding the lack of communication and who knows whether it will be acted upon. All in all i am satisfied with the purchase and the price that i paid for it if the company can sort out the communication issues from their end then they would have got 5 stars ! My advice would be to anybody wanting to purchase from this company to give them an email with your query before your purchase and pay on a credit card just incase. That is no disrespect to Digital HDMI i would use a credit card for ALL internet purchases

I chose one star but they dont even deserve that

I too am going through the same problem, it wasnt till after reading other reviews till I started to panic.
They are not returning Emails, and their answering machine is I would say a personal not a business answering machine.
I bought mine with a credit card, thankfully they said they can sort it all out, this still leaves me out of pocket for at least 30.
If a deal is too good to be true it more than likely is. I wish my common sense kicked in before buying. As single mum of 2 I should have been more vigilant, I just wanted to treat us to a new telly.

DO NOT use this company under any circustances.

Under no circumstances deal with this company and expect any level of customer services, or expect to receive the goods you've ordered.

I ordered a Sony Bravia from this "company" on the 18th September 2010, I did not receive the TV, was offered an inferior model one day before my credit card company could have taken my money back automatically. When I turned this down I was offered a full refund, which meant this "company" had another 30 days before they had to return my money, that's sixty days from placement of order with no goods and no refund. I finally got my credit card company to return my money on the 22nd November 2010.

This all despite numerous telephone calls with the "company", a guy called Sam always alswered fobbed me off with unkept promised and oly ever replied to one of my five emails during this two month period !

I wish I'd taken more notice of the one customer review I found for DigitalHDMI on the web before I ordered, this was also negative.

If you don't believe me just Google map the post code from the website and you'll see it's a private dwelling. I could say a lot more about this "company" but don't want to get into litigation or liable, suffice to say I wish I'd never heard of DigitalHDMI !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not give this company a penny !

avoid at all costs I ordered a tv exactly a month ago today after been given 3 delivery dates and even a free upgrade to a 3D tv still no delivery, if you can get them to answer the phone you will get fobbed off and fed bull, dont bother emailing them they dont reply, dont leave a msg on the answer phone they dont reply, the best you can do is after reading this you are completely nuts and still buy from them is use your credit card you have to wait 30 days from purchase before you can claim your money back which can then take 6 weeks, by the time i get my money back i will have been out of pocket for 3 months and still have no tv !

Appalling Customer Service

I feel the need to add my experience with this company. I cancelled an order with these guys after nearly seven days having not received a delivery date or any replies to emails or telephone calls. I did so under the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 . I then did get a phone call from them promising delivery in a further seven days. having already found this thread I stuck to my guns and insisted on my right to a refund.

I have just received that refund eight weeks after requesting it. This followed many telephone calls, invariably to an answerphone and no return call, and unanswered emails. Eventually, on the advice of the West Midlands Trading Standards I wrote to them again, recorded delivery to the company, threatening court action. Then recently, miracle of miracle someone picked up the phone when I rang them. It took all my willpower to remain polite, but I did, and got a promise of some action. Two weeks later I have my money back, but no apology.

I have no proof that they wilfully retained my money, but I do suspect it. I am absolutely certain that their customer service is absolutely appalling. They might be a few pounds cheaper, but I would strongly recommend not dealing with this outfit.

Incidentally I made my payment via Barclaycard, who were also absolutely useless. They took weeks faffing around only to decide that, as I had cancelled the order, I had breached the contract and so the liability that they shared as the credit provider no longer applied. From reading this thread I see that PayPal have a different attitude, which is encouraging.

Shop At Digtal Hdmi With EXTREME Caution

I bought a samsung led tv from digital hdmi earlier this year. the price was very competitive (over £200 off rrp). This was the only good thing about this experience. It took 5 weeks to deliver (after many dogged emails and phone calls) When i received the tv i noticed the screen was damaged and called them straight away. They said they'll replace it asap. 9 weeks later (after many dogged emails and phone calls) they collected the tv and replaced it with the SAME tv. So here i am now, waiting for the credit card company to step in and give me back my money. Their customer service is appauling and they dont have a valid postal address so you can go and see them face to face. Think really hard before you commit to purchasing here.

UPDATE:
After my credit company retreived my money from these fools, they had the bare faced cheek to put an unauthorised transaction on my card to recoup the funds. I've now had to cancel my card to stop them using it again and go through due process to get my refund. These people are beyond contemptible.
