I would highly recommend Dinnerwithshaun. I used them to support a small garden party with a few of their excellent platters. Unlike a number of caterers they weren't difficult about managing a small, bespoke order. Food arrived on time on the day and was delicious - plus the team were very easy to work with. I'll certainly use them again.

Shaun did the food for my 60th party. Everything ran extremely smoothly, with great communication all along. On the day everything was done quickly and efficiently and the food was amazing!! It meant that I could enjoy my party instead of worrying about the food. Everything was cleared away and left neat and tidy. Many of our friends told us how impressed they were and asked for Shaun’s details. I would definitely recommend using Shaun for all of your catering needs!

We have used Dinner with Shaun on several occasions now and would highly recommend his services. On our most recent experience, we were hosting a dinner for several family members and Shaun made excellent suggestions for the menu, he was very flexible (we had a few dietaries that meant different dishes to everyone else) and even managed to provide a winning menu for five fussy under 12's! Whilst the food is fantastic, it's the overall experience which keeps us coming back. We got to sit back and relax in the comfort of our home whilst Shaun and his wife ensured we didn't lift a finger washing everything up and leaving the kitchen spotless on departure! We will certainly be using their services again!

I booked Shaun to provide the catering for a reception following a funeral. He provided a suggested menu with alternative options. He was really accommodating and helpful. The food provided was excellent, the subject of many compliments from the guests and was beautifully presented. Pricing was reasonable and well worth it. I was very happy as were my guests.

Shaun is a great cook, and designs and delivers menus to suit the occasion and the attendees. He is also excellent company and is able to carry out multiple tasks in the kitchen while telling some of his many stories about his passion for food and his background. We had a great time and the evening was no more expensive than a nice restaurant - without the mark up on the alcohol.

This was our second time using Dinner with Shaun and it didn’t disappoint. We had a big family birthday party this time and Shaun prepared an amazing “Brazilian BBQ” spread for 20. Great food, presentation and more than we could eat. Friendly communications and service too, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Nothing less than excellent from start to finish. We went to Shaun after a recommendation from my father for top notch service and excellent food for our wedding breakfast. Shaun patiently took us through our options, actively listening to our preferences and making thoughtful suggestions which added to our chosen menu.

On the day, the seamless attention to detail made Shaun's contribution to our special day nothing short of effortless. Quite apart from the fantastic food and quality service, the standout thing for me was Shaun's problem solving. We had a fridge delivered instead of a freezer which would have made keeping the ice cream frozen a challenge. I put in a call to Shaun who took all of about 15 seconds before he hatched a plan to solve the problem. As this was about 45 minutes before I was due to get married, I cannot tell you how much I appreciated Shaun's excellent problem solving skills.

Wholeheartedly recommended, for the delicious food, excellent staff and first class attention to detail.

Great experience using Shaun to cater a hen party this weekend. Communication was great from start to finish. He was very willing to listen and adapt. On the day he and his assistant were extremely professional and produced a wonderful meal that was enjoyed by all!

Shaun catered our wedding: canapés, drinks bar, Brazilian bbq (that our Brazilian family loved), evening pizzas and a buffet brunch the next day. He spent time working on the menu with us and was super flexible, including catering for dietary requirements and fussy eaters. The food was fantastic and the team worked so hard. They managed everything for us, arranging hire of tables, glasses and linen etc. we couldn’t be happier and I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Shaun and Christine prepared a Burn’s Night menu for us, and it was absolutely top quality! Canapés were delicious and everything was beautifully presented. The haggis and accompaniments were beyond anything I could do, desert and cheese rounded off the meal. I have no hesitation in recommending them for their talents!

Shaun and his team, have been 5 star from day 1. They helped us create the perfect menu for our New Year’s Eve wedding. All of the food was delicious especially the Beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection for all of our guests. The canapés were just right for the occasion and they were served in abundance keeping the guests happy before dinner. Shaun’s communication was brilliant keeping me up to date with everything. After 28 years of stressful Christmas cooking experiences, trying out Dinner with Shaun’s brilliant Christmas menu was every housewife’s absolute dream. There was zero food wastage and it was all delicious. I would happily recommend Shaun to anyone.
