For YEARS I'd wake up with these awful headaches, and I tried everything to figure out why. More water, less screen time, cutting out wine, even a sleep study—nothing helped. My doctor kept suggesting it was super frustrating stress.

I was skeptical when I ordered the Modular Pillow (and honestly, the price made me hesitate), but it's been absolutely worth it. The company uses intentionally deceptive marketing including touting a 120 day no risk trial and free shipping and returns. Then they make it nearly impossible to actually return the item. It took multiple email exchanges to even get a return address. And then they revealed I had to pay return shipping, which will be over $50, and tried to manipulate me into paying them the $50 to keep the item that I can’t actually use. When I complained directly to the company they claimed the info was on their site but it’s not. In fact they now have an add that says ‘don’t like it, we’ll pay YOU!’


I would not ever purchase from this company again.

As a dedicated side sleeper, I was getting SO frustrated with pillows. They either pushed my neck into weird angles or went completely flat after a couple weeks. Ugh. The Modular Pillow is seriously different though. It keeps my head positioned just right with those adjustable pieces, and I can customize it to my shoulder width. I wake up without that awful neck kink, and I don't have to keep punching it into shape throughout the night. My partner says I'm not tossing around nearly as much either!

Tore my rotator cuff playing softball years ago, and it's made side sleeping a nightmare ever since. My shoulder would just sink into the mattress, causing this radiating pain that would wake me up. It’s been a simple change in sleep support and 100% made enormous difference.

I stupidly supported this company through Indiegogo 2(!) years ago…. They already selling their products through Amazon at a lesser price and free shipping. I have never received my item. I’ve contacted Indiegogo (who on my behalf made DrTrigger to respond). DrTrigger have send me a link (claiming that I’ve failed to complete a mandatory survey. Checked my emails three times- they’ve never send me one) for the survey in order to receive the promised and paid for set. Anyway, I used the link and went through all the steps adding in the end a storage bag for the Rocker 2.0 set. My guess because of that action the actual set has disappeared from the order. I have received only storage bag and now my order is listed as complete. Link does not work and there is no way to contact anyone. I’ve reached out to the Indiegogo support again. About a year ago I’ve asked the campaign owner to reimburse me as I didn’t want to wait anymore for his product. The owner replied to me that he cannot give me my money back as he used it for the production. But if he thinks it’s ok to take money from people and to never fulfill the promises to give them back the actual product, when he is nothing but a scammer!!!!
Run from this company. There is nothing true to them, no value, no decency or the honesty. I’m questioning the owner being a Doctor as well.
Disgusting practice and business to deal with…!

Stupidly backed the Kickstarter campaign for the pillow. What a mistake. Ridiculous shipping fees, pressure to buy additionnal shipping insurance ( ???) and no accountability. Will never, EVER, buy anything from Doctortrigger and will make it a point to not buy anything from anyone associated with them.

I wish I had checked the reviews before throwing my money into the black hole that is this company. They proudly advertise "easy returns"—which is hilarious, because they seem to have redefined "easy" to mean "impossible unless you enjoy being ignored indefinitely." Good luck getting a response from their non-existent customer service.

Shipping? Oh, you mean the exorbitant fee they charge to maybe send your package to the right address? And if they don’t? Well, that’s your problem, obviously. They’ll happily blame you while washing their hands of any responsibility. The best part? If your package is returned to them due to their incompetence, don’t expect a refund—just a lighter wallet and a lot of frustration.

And for all the Kickstarter backers who supported this company in good faith—congratulations, you’ve been royally scammed. They charged backers nearly double for shipping, only to turn around and offer the same "exclusive" product at a lower cost to new customers. Absolute betrayal.

Avoid this company like the plague. If a business refuses to list a phone number, dodges customer service inquiries, and has a trail of furious customers in its wake, that’s a massive red flag. Spend your money elsewhere—preferably somewhere that doesn’t operate like a glorified Kickstarter grift.

Do not buy from this company! They tout "easy returns," but it's not so easy when you email the company repeatedly and get no response. I'm filing a dispute with PayPal to see if I can get my money back and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This is insane. I'm never buying from a company that doesn't list a phone number. Giant red flag right there.

Dishonest company that charge excessive shipping and then ship to the wrong address.

I think something went wrong between DHL and Parcelforce whereby Parcelforce only have a partial address. When you ask Doctortrigger to contact the couriers and amend the address to the one you provided they blame you and tell you to contact the couriers yourself which, as the recipient you cannot do - due to data protection laws - and all couriers agree this falls as the sellers sole responsibility.

Doctortrigger refuse to issue a refund or contact the courier to amend the address (as literally ANY reputable seller would be more than happy to do), so my parcel is on its way back to them and I'm massively out of pocket. Avoid this company and their Kickstarter scams.

Extremely dishonest company

This company has funded their products at a "reduced" price via kickstarter, which they then offered to new customers regardless. They have also charged kickstarter backers almost twice the shipping charges as they do any new order from their site.

Same here, a completely shady company that wants to rip off their customers with crazy high unjustified shipping fees not allowing cancellations or refunds.

Shady company to do business with. They charge excessive amounts for shipping and do not honor their refund policies so buyer beware if you are buying an item from this company.
