Paying $750 to renew a GCP Marketplace Subscription?

So we're trying to renew contract subscriptions through the GCP Marketplace and a Partner, the Partner says GCP (DoIT) must initiate. Their GenAI says it cannot initiate commercial actions and must reach out to the account manager. But that person (if it is a person) doesn't even acknowledge receipt of our emails.

We don't want to pay $750 USD to renew a $0 commercial contract just because they chose to fire all their human staff.

Now, we're on the brink of system collapse because we can't renew a freaking subscription. This development with AI doesn't really make any sense to me... very counterproductive!

Clear cost reporting for engineering teams

I have used DoiT for nearly 2 years and the experience has been fantastic. Their team is incredibly responsive whenever we need support or have technical questions about the product or AWS billing in general.

The main feature we use is the cost reporting, which is really helpful to share with other teams so they can take ownership of their usage, and cost anomaly alerts are helpful to keep on top of changes.

Savings good, Support even better.

Have been working with the team at DoIT for a few years now over multiple businesses and not only do they help commercially in securing great rates, the level of service and support from the team makes the endeavour worthwhile alone. Plan on using them for as long as I'm working with cloud providers.

One console to rule them all.

With growing challenges in visibility, cost control, and governance across AWS, Google Cloud, and other cloud services like O365, we were dealing with an increasingly complex multi-cloud environment. It became difficult to get a clear overview and gobernance of our cloud spending, and we needed a more structured approach to financial operations.

DoiT enabled us to bring all our cloud expenses together under one roof. Their platform gave us the visibility and control that we needed to manage our cloud financials effectively. Leveraging their FinOps capabilities, we were able to consolidate our cloud costs and build a comprehensive toolkit to monitor and optimize our usage. Features like Flexsave and Spot Scaling made it easy to reduce costs without compromising performance, something critical for us and our workloads.

We also benefited greatly from DoiT’s technical support team, who helped us quickly resolve complex issues that were slowing us down, the engineering teams is awesome. Their hands-on assistance made a real difference in unblocking technical roadblocks.

In conclusion, thanks to DoiT, we've significantly improved our governance model, reduced our overall cloud spend, and increased operational efficiency across our multi-cloud ecosystem.

AVA can generate reports, provide cost anomaly insights, and offer support for both DoiT and CSP environments, all through simple language queries.

Great for small teams that build products leveraging multiple cloud platforms.

I am the sole DevOps engineer at my small company. I therefore can't always get the right answer quickly enough to meet my desired workflow rate. DoiT has helped me immensely in the support and cost optimisation of our product.

We're always developing new features, so sometimes we need answers fast and we need to develop in a cost-efficient manner so as to not balloon our monthly bills. The consulting and support has been stellar, and being able to see our cost breakdown for all cloud environments is extremely useful. The cost anomaly notifications makes life much easier too, as we can see where the anomaly occurred month-to-month.

I got introduce to DoItThe only tool you need for Cloud FinOps 2 years ago and…

I got introduce to DoIt 2 years ago and I have been a big fan since then.

Not only did it help us to easily identify cloud savings (~15%), it also reduced my personal time spent to analyse our monthly cloud cost. Unexplainable cost increases took me a few hours to investigate; now with Doit I can do that in less than 30min thanks to their great report and analytics capabilities.

Next the FinOps features my company uses their consulting services for Cloud components for which do not have an in house expert. The shared advice was very valuable in any case I can remember from the past.

Very good product and Support

We use DOIT in order to control cost on our AWS and GCP accounts. The platform is very good to find saving, create alerting in order to be reactive. Recommendation on BigQuery optimization and EKS are awesome.
The team is also super friendly, reactive and skilled!

Excellent Cloud Support, Good Cloud Optimization Platform

The cloud engineering support team is excellent and great to work with! They're detailed, and support our mission.

Their platform provides better cloud visibility than any of the major cloud providers, and being multi-cloud, opens up new opportunities for cost optimization & visibility across the board.

Most, if not all, of their new features are gated behind more expensive plans which is unfortunate, but even their base plan offers great value to customers.

Painful user experience

Ok they are supposed to save you money on your AWS bills, but the onboarding process has been painful, and the account managers take a while to respond to you (when they do). I guess they are busy growing their business, and they will bother providing a good user experience sometime in the future!
