First time to order meat from Dexter , prices are a little higher than I would normally pay but the quality of the meat reveals why.
I had topside beef rib roast, cooked it last Sunday and was really impressed: tender, buttery, and had a real flavour unlike supermarket cuts. Rare breed pork sausages were excellent, trying the pork chops tonight.
The truth is, I've had sirloin steaks from the Supermarket that I didn't enjoy or couldn't finish, so I think it's better to pay a little extra for meat I enjoy.
Delivery very efficient, and overall a good experience so far.
Can't wait for the good weather to try the Barbie stuff!

Was my 2nd order from Donabate Dexter. Ordering and delivery was spot on and the quality is undisputed However I was not altogether happy with the cutting of the filet steak. They were cut too thin. I would have preferred just 1 decent steak instead of 2 small ones.( Didn't resemble anything like the picture) I got the minute steaks for the 2nd time. First time perfect, now 1 piece cut as thick as the filet steak and 2 more small bits added. Minute steaks should be cut thinner .The Boerworst had a sticker on, that it had been frozen, which I had planned for it. So it had to be used and it was very tasty. Nevertheless I will return

We tried the Valentine's Day special of Steak for two. We liked the larger size of these steaks at 300g vs. the regular offer of 250g. The taste was amazing.
This was our second time ordering from Donabate Dexter and the experience was as good as the first one. Great quality product and wonderful customer service.

The beef sausages were gorgeous, as were the rare pork chops..will definately be ordering again
