I had a fantastic experience with Drive HGV from start to finish. Their team was professional, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping me succeed in becoming an HGV driver. The training was thorough and well-structured, with experienced instructors who made sure I understood every aspect of driving and safety.

The booking process was smooth, and I appreciated how flexible they were with scheduling around my commitments. I also found their customer service team easy to contact and very helpful whenever I had questions.

I reached out to drive HGV as I run a courier company and wanted to expand into the HGV world. I googled HGV training and they were the first to come up. After reviewing their website, I found their site easy to navigate and that they had simplified what seemed to me like a difficult process. I filled out their ‘get a quote’ section and within less than 10 minutes I had a phone call from one of the owners personally, who was so knowledgable and helpful.

After discussing my situation and my goals. We quickly discovered that going for the class 1 C + E was the best option for me and my business goals.

The whole process seemed daunting at first, however after speaking with Mike and Elliot, they broke it down so elegantly and in such a simple form, that I could easily understand.

From there, I followed each step one by one and I can now confirm that I have passed my class 1 C + E and couldn’t be happier.

The team were so helpful through each step and I’m extremely grateful to them for helping me achieve my goal of becoming a HGV driver.

The guys really want to support you and have a genuine interest in who you are, what you’re looking to achieve and how they can help you.

I highly recommend Drive HGV, if you’re debating whether to go for it or not, my advice is to do it, I wish I had done mine sooner. You won’t be disappointed with these guys.

Overall experience wasn’t bad honestly but it could’ve been much better.

Communication was on point including all the details and support from the team. When I decided to join and get the HGV course done back in January I was told that by end of March beginning of April (the latest) everything will be done and I’d have my licence but the things got backlogged to about a month. I can understand it’s not under the agency control. I think that giving realistic time frames to the customers should be no. 1 priority as everyone has to plan things around.

From the actual practice school point of view it went okay I would say, although things could’ve been better organised by them, my training session as per schedule were supposed to begin at 7:00 in the mornings but most of the times from various reasons we didn’t got to leave the yard until about one hour later and that just shortens the practice time. On the second day we had to drive in a van over to a practice/test yard that took about 1h50 minutes, and the yard over there was very although I passed I didn’t manage to get much practice as we’ve kept being interrupted by others trying to use the same space and that only increases stress levels and overall the fairness of the whole system in place. Truth be told we finished later than 12:00 on that day but it wasn’t about us respecting the hours it was just the place being crowded. Just a better time management and organise system would be much helpful.

Support from Drive HGV is exceptional, they’re quick on reply and available for any questions or help you might have or need.

There was a misunderstanding with one of the team members in regards with some theory test and you could clearly see the lack of communication between the team there. Other than this experience with them was okay and I am glad I passed despite everything that was going on.

I recommend using their services as your guide trough everything, they’ll take care of all the steps for you and guide you trough what you need, also offering platforms for your theory tests practice.

Throughout the whole process felt really supported, big thank you to Elliott.All bookings were sorted swiftly and the practical training was fantastic. Passed first time! Original all went well once I spoke with Josh & Elliot over the phone and when I booked the course.

I started off happy with the whole process and was promised at minimum by Josh & Elliot that job interviews would be guaranteed once I obtained my licence. I now have my licence and have had no help in finding work within the HGV industry.

I would be extremely skeptical on that part before booking the course with DRIVE HGV. I’m unsatisfied with the service they have provided and would not recommend using this provider if you are expecting them to find you work once you have you obtained your licence.

I managed to gain my Cat C+E Class 1 through DriveHGV. They were extremely helpful and cordial throughout the entire process ensuring I had everything I needed to pass the course and checked up on me throughout my driving experience to make sure all was going well. I couldn’t have asked for anymore assistance throughout the process they made everything super easy to understand and covered any queries or questions I had. A massive thank you to both Josh and Elliott who were both superb throughout the course and gave me everything I needed to progress with this next big chapter. I highly recommend DriveHGV to anyone who is looking into getting into HGV driving.

I passed my class 1 driving test this week. If you’re considering going with Drive HGV , you’re making the right choice. The staff were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the entire process. Josh and Elliot were always on hand to answer any questions.

Both Mike and Elliot were relaxed and great to speak to when questions needed asking.
Each step was organised immediately for me to move on to the next stage.
They were supportive and encouraging.
