I spent months researching clinics and doctors before making any decisions, and that process is ultimately what led me to Dr Safa Manav. From the moment I reached out, Dr Safa’s clinic stood out. I emailed my top three choices with the same questions about pricing, recovery, protocol and general expectations. His team replied almost immediately and kept up steady, thoughtful communication. One of the other clinics responded once, then disappeared, and the third never replied at all. The contrast made my decision clear. It was obvious that Dr Safa runs a very organised and attentive practice, which tells you a lot about his character and the reliability of his entire team.

At first, I assumed the level of service he offered would be outside my budget, but I asked for a quote anyway so I could compare. I was genuinely surprised to find that the quality of care came at an affordable price. That mix of expertise and reasonable cost made the choice even easier, especially knowing it tied directly into my long term wellbeing.

During my stay in Turkey, I met people from several countries who had done the same in depth research and ended up at the same clinic. Every person I spoke with shared the same impression of Dr Safa: confident, capable and professional. His team also deserves special recognition. Belma, Buse and Elif were incredible. I had direct contact with them throughout my entire journey, and any time I had a question, they replied almost immediately. They felt like friends I simply hadn’t met until then, which brought so much comfort during a time when my health was my main focus.

Everyone spoke excellent English, so communication was easy. I enjoyed trying a bit of Turkish for fun, but it definitely wasn’t necessary. From the airport pickup to the clinic visits, the procedure and the aftercare, everything was handled for me. Travelling abroad for medical care can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire experience smooth and stress free.

I only stayed a short time, but I genuinely wished I could have stayed longer. I loved meeting people from all over the world who were also focusing on their wellbeing. The level of care, the warmth of the staff and the friendly environment made a huge difference. It felt welcoming, sincere and very human.

I’ve completed one procedure so far and I’m already planning future visits as part of my ongoing path toward better health (and maybe even for some 'upgrades' over time). I’m deeply grateful to Dr Safa and his whole team for making the experience exceptional and for supporting my wellbeing in such a meaningful way.

From my initial contact and coordination with Belma, my trip to Dr Sava's clinic was very easy and well organised. Elif is incredibly professional, easy to talk and kept me informed every step of the way. Back at the hotel the lovely nurse Buse came to check on me every day after my surgery to change dressings etc. Everything was explained to me thoroughly throughout the whole process.
Dr Sava has a lovely manner, answers any questions and explains things fully. More to the point he is a very experienced surgeon.

Having surgery in your own country can be nerve wracking. Traveling to another country to have surgery is almost unimaginable. From the initial contact and coordination with Belma, to Elif taking over upon arrival, and Buse taking such good care of me after surgery, Dr. Safa and his team have made this experience easier than we could have ever dreamed. I’m only a few days post op and very swollen so I can’t comment on aesthetics yet, but I know that Dr. Sava’s patients don’t leave unhappy. This is a beautiful city and the people are so extremely friendly. Don’t hesitate to book your surgery with Dr. Safa, & be sure to give yourself time to explore this beautiful part of the world.

I felt like I was in safe hands with Safa. I went back and forth on who to go with and I’m still confident I made the right decision. It’s too early for final results (7 days post op) for temporal midface lift, but I opted for Safa as I wanted a natural refreshed look.

The overall service by way of the wider team, transfers, hotel, hospital, etc, were really good 😊. I brought my partner and little one along and we were accommodated as a family, so thank you!

I’m so glad I picked Dr. Manav as my surgeon— I have zero regrets! I had a neck lift, deep plane lower facelift, endoscopic mid facelift, lateral brow lift, and fat grafting, and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.

When I first got out of surgery and they took me to the restroom, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and it took my breath away. I looked like an angel! Absolutely gorgeous! (I’m not tooting my own horn here, I’m tooting Dr. Manav’s horn. He’s an artist with a scalpel!). I expected to look 5-10 years younger but he shaved at least 15 years off my face, if not more. (It’s a good thing I got that sneak peak before the swelling set in, too, because by my next bathroom visit, I looked like I’d gone twelve rounds with Mike Tyson. I knew that, under all the puffery, there was something spectacular about to be revealed!).

The placement of his stitches is so absolutely precise, I had a hard time even seeing where I was supposed to be applying the antibiotic ointment. My ears look great (no pixie ears or weird deformities) and the incisions are nearly imperceptible. About ten years ago, I had a ill-advised lower facelift by an LA surgeon that left me with a wonky ear fold that was so embarrassing…Dr. Manav fixed it and now my ear looks totally normal! I can finally wear my hair back again! Yay!

Of course, I’m only a month out and still have a ways to go, but the swelling is going away and I’m already wowed by my results…absolutely thrilled! Dr. Manav is an absolute rock star and a master at his craft. 10/10 would do it again. Highly recommend.

Beyond 5 Stars!

Dr. Safa Manav met and exceeded all my expectations. I had a deep plane face and neck lift, endoscopic brow lift, fat transfer, and lip lift — and I am beyond thrilled with my results.

Elif, his assistant, spoke perfect English, made me feel completely comfortable, and explained everything clearly. The entire staff — Belma, Boussa, and his surgical nurse — were exceptionally organized, attentive, and kind. I truly enjoyed working with each of them.

If you have any reservations about Dr. Safa Manav or about traveling to Turkey for surgery — don’t! My experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I’m already planning to return next year for a few more procedures.

What initially seemed too good to be true, turned out to be more than I could have asked for. Dr. Manav and his staff have been kind, efficient, and professional. The initial results of my neck, face, and upper and lower eye lifts are impressive. I highly recommend their services.

I had a deep plane facelift and am extremely happy with both the operation and the staff. From the start, Belma was excellent, coordinating with me before my arrival in Turkey, and her responsiveness and knowledge were reassuring. Elif also supported me with anything I needed. Buse, in particular, was a wonderful, caring, and beautiful nurse. The team was outstanding, and the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.

Doctor Safa Manav performed my surgery with exceptional skill and precision, leaving me amazed even though my face was initially swollen (surprisingly not as much I was expecting). His artistic abilities, along with the excellent care from his staff, surpassed my expectations. Elif helped coordinate my care wonderfully, and the whole experience was informative and worry-free.

I had a DP Face/neck lift, upper eye bleph, lower eye pinch, fat graft and temporal lift with Dr Safa Manav in June this year. I am now 8 weeks out and whilst I still have some swelling and puffiness around my eye area, I am very pleased with the outcome so far! I have ZERO scarring at the front of my ears which is amazing (not sure how he did that!) and very little scarring elsewhere - the whole process from arrival in Istanbul, the hotel, the hospital and aftercare were all great, and I felt looked after and informed the whole time (I was on my own, so this was very important). I had minimal pain after the procedure which was managed with regular pain killers for a few days - Buse was the nurse who visited me at the hotel every day to change dressings etc. and was just so lovely! An important factor for me was the aftercare once I returned home and I have to say Elif (my post operative co-ordinator) has been AMAZING. Super organised and always available if I had any questions, queries, moans and groans once I was home.. she always listened to my questions with empathy and gave me reassurance. Patience is key for this procedure (which I don't have much of :)) so trust in the process. Would recommend the doctor and the staff at the practice if you are thinking about surgery in Istanbul

Aaahh, where do I even begin with Dr. Safa and his amazing team? From start to finish, this has been one of the best experiences of my life. I’m only 5 days post-op and already feeling incredible. I had a full mommy makeover after having 5 kids — you can only imagine what my body went through over the years.

Dr. Safa truly worked magic. He gave me back my confidence, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like me again. I’m walking around Istanbul feeling like a brand new woman, absolutely in love with my results.

1000% would choose Dr. Manav to do this surgery again and am actually going back in December for a thigh lift. I had a tummy tuck, arm lift, breast lift without implants, and Lipo 360. I love that there were not only patient coordinators, but I also had someone escort me from my hotel to the hospital/Dr. Manav’s office. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and, having gone by myself, I was very comfortable and confident and there was no guess work with “what do I do next”. Elif and Fatih, my patient coordinators were in contact all along the way and answered any questions no matter the time; they took all of the stress out of the process. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience.

I had a very wonderful experience with Dr Safa Manav and his staff. From Belma, his patient coordinator who explained every to me and was available 24/7. Buse, who made sure I was taken care of when I arrived in Istanbul to Elif who was my personal nurse. Dr. Safa Manav is fantastic, easy to talk to and explained the whole procedure to me. I was very nervous traveling to a foreign country for a major surgery. However seen results of my friend that used Dr. Manav, and results of online posted patients and I was convinced that I would only trust him to do my surgery.
The whole experience was great. Everything is so well organized and perfectly set up. Everything is thought after. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel. We had a very nice room. Hotel provides 24/7 nursing care. Breakfast provided and included in cost. Breakfast was great! All transfers to the hospital and Dr. office were arranged and transportation was always on time, I got my blood work and met anesthesiologist day before surgery. I had a visit with Dr. Manav day before the surgery, where we went over everything we planned on doing and he answered all my questions and talked about details of surgery. Surgery took place the next day. Surgery went well, I woke up in my room. Dr. Stopped by and stated that everything went well. I spend a night in the hospital with lots of icing and IV meds. Next day I went back to the hotel. Unfortunately my swelling was getting worse and worse, to where I had difficulty eating or drinking, next couple of days. Dr. Manav nurse came to see me every day. She would change dressing and send pictures to the Dr. Dr. Manav asked to see me and I went to see him on the 3rd post op day. He also was concerned about my severe swelling, which was not uncommon with my surgery. He immediately admitted me back to the hospital, started IV steroid, that made the world of difference. He came to see me everyday and his nurses stayed with me in a day time in addition to hospital nurses. I was discharged 2 days later feeling much better. Last f/u appointed went perfect, I was able to see amazing results already and was very happy with the whole experience. We were also able to do some sight seeing last few days and enjoy beautiful Istanbul!
