Love working with DSQR! They have a great system set up so everyone stays in the loop and communication is incredibly easy. They produce high quality edits very quickly and will revise your video as many times as you would like. I kept changing my mind on videos and they kept rolling with the punches, it was great.

I've worked with DSQR for over a year, operating as an agency, where they would handle the majority of the video edits I need for short-form video, and my experience has been overall good!
Most videos came out well the first time around and didn't require any revisions, and my clients were consistently happy with the results of the edits!
The videos that needed revisions (caption adjustments, colour correction, change in b-roll) were done without hesitation, and videos were revised as many times as required until they were satisfactory (I think we had a bigger video that got 8 rounds of revisions, with 0 complaints, and the client LOVED the end result!)
They're collaborative, transparent, and fast - and honestly helped me deliver a quantity of videos that I would not have been able to otherwise.
They were also great for helping me edit videos I recorded of myself for a personal brand, which was another use case I was pleasantly surprised with.
If you're looking for editors to fulfill client projects, or are looking to expand the social media presence of your own business, I'd definitely recommend giving these guys a try. The value I got compared to hiring a freelance video editor was incredible.

Clean onboarding and simple communication. Granted you have proper documentation and are clear with what you want, I'd recommend to work with them. Over time, it is much cheaper to have a database of projects to reference for success than to keep randomly finding freelancers. Wonderful company

We truly believe in keeping things fair and transparent with everyone we work with. As shared earlier, payments are released after completing the full 3-day trial. You were able to complete only 2 days of work, and the tasks delivered didn’t meet the required quality or timelines. Because of that, we couldn’t move forward.
We understand misunderstandings can happen, but reacting this way and posting false claims isn’t professional and doesn’t reflect what actually took place. We always compensate fairly for completed and satisfactory work.
Focus on improving your skillset.

They disappear for weeks without answering emails, then come back blaming me instead. Promised test videos without a watermark in exchange for a review — never delivered. And honestly, I have no idea how they claim they can make 100 videos a day when they don’t even have an editor for the language I needed. I had to correct their work many times. So here’s your review: if you can’t do what you promise, why even bother?

This was a free trial.
As communicated at the start, the work you received was part of a 30-day free trial. Trial deliveries are intended to let clients check our process, timing, and style - not to be final, watermark-free deliverables.
What we delivered.
During the trial, we provided all items requested on time from our side: rough cuts, edits, revision rounds, and draft previews. We pushed updates and followed the workflow agreed upon at onboarding.
Watermark policy on trial work.
We make our watermark policy very clear up front: trial videos are delivered with a watermark. This protects the studio’s intellectual property while allowing clients to validate quality and speed. Removing the watermark requires opting into a paid package - again, a policy we share before starting trials.
Paid opt-in includes trial content without a watermark.
If a client chooses to proceed to paid service, we provide the trial-period videos (the same clips you previewed) as final, watermark-free files as part of the paid delivery - there’s no double charge for work already done in trial once you convert.
There were gaps on the project communication side, too.
We requested specific inputs multiple times (script/voiceover files, correct language details, final asset links, and timely feedback). Delays and partial information from the client side prevented us from completing some iterations as intended. Clear, timely inputs are essential for a fast, high-quality turnaround.
Scale & capacity - and what’s reasonable to expect free of charge.
We are a studio that routinely delivers a large volume of videos daily for multiple clients. That capability is real - but it applies to paid workflows with confirmed briefs and asset handoffs. Expecting the same high-volume output and watermark-free final files during a free trial is not feasible or standard practice for any reputable studio.
Language & editor capability.
We have editors with multi-language experience and access to language resources. Where a specific language nuance was needed, our editors use a combination of trained editors, native-speaker review (when required), and technology (transcription/translation tools) to ensure correctness. If there was a language mismatch in this case, we should have clarified this earlier - and we regret any confusion.
We take feedback seriously - both positive and negative - and we’re committed to improving. If you’re open to it, we’d welcome one final chance to review the project together (a quick call) to identify the exact gaps and find a practical resolution. Our goal is always fair, transparent work and satisfied clients.
