i dont even know where to begin, du service, bad wifi etc.., This wifi is the worst wifi i had in my entire life, it has been like this for 1 year and its unbearabl, its laggy, keeps disconnecting, slow in loading simple things and many more!, as i write this review my wifi disconnected more than 10 times already!, When you try to cancel the subscription you need to pay additional fee for it!, if you want to get good wifi and service, first thing to do is to avoid DU.
App Not Working + Support System Failure
I spent almost two hours trying to update my Emirates ID through the du app, but the app kept glitching and failing to complete the process. I also tried calling customer care multiple times, but even the calling system kept saying “This service is not available,” so I couldn’t reach any agent.
When I finally managed to speak to support through another method, the agent was polite and tried to help, but the issue was not fixed. I was simply told to visit a du store, even though du themselves recommend updating the ID through the app — which is exactly what isn’t working.
du service overall: 0/10
The problem is clearly with the app and the backend systems, not the staff. du needs to fix these issues urgently. I hope others found it useful

Overcharged each month. App shows different amount but I end up paying 2 or 3 times more. Then have to call to raise complaint. Nothing changed. 1 year of monthly complaints. Billing needs an audit or someone to oversee the volume of complaints and bad service

I am extremely disappointed with DU’s customer service and the way my case has been handled. I stopped using my internet service over two months ago, and after a call from DU in October offering me a new package, I was informed that my account would expire soon and the service would be automatically discontinued. Based on this, I did not request a manual cancellation, assuming it would be taken care of.
However, to my surprise, I continued to receive bills for services I was no longer using. I contacted DU customer support multiple times—four times in total—only to be repeatedly asked to pay for charges I shouldn’t be responsible for. I also sent a detailed email to their customer care team explaining the situation and requesting the cancellation of the service, along with a review of the charges. Unfortunately, I have received no response or resolution to date.
This lack of communication, coupled with being told to pay for something I was misinformed about, has left me incredibly frustrated. I would appreciate it if DU would take responsibility for the misinformation provided, cancel the service immediately, and waive the unjust charges from my account.
I hope this review helps others be cautious when dealing with DU, and I encourage the company to review their customer support practices and improve their transparency.
AVOID
AVOID - Absolutely hate using Du. Terrible prices, long contracts that you have to pay ridiculously to get out of. There services are rubbish and their app is terrible too. The customer service is rude and cant understand English half the time. I got locked out of my account on the app, so I called the support line and they told me to message their WhatsApp to share my issue and I talked with a bot for 10 minutes trying to get to an agent but they make it so difficult. I swear I wrote "Connect to agent" 15 times

Since 1 and half years im struggling woth network, missed a lot of important calls i have to stand near the window to get proper network, reported multiple times but customer service agent closed the tickets without resolution, the last agent was very rude.
Systemic Failure, Incompetence and Total Disrespect for Business Clients
My experience with du has been nothing short of unacceptable and reflects a serious systemic failure in both operations and customer service.
As a corporate account holder and business owner, I have visited their office seven times. Each visit resulted in the same outcome: no resolution, no accountability, and new, inconsistent requirements.
I was repeatedly asked to provide documents that are already available within official UAE systems and should be accessible to your staff. This alone raises serious concerns about your internal processes and staff competence.
At one point, I was instructed to bring printed documents. I complied. Your staff scanned everything — only to later request the exact same documents again. This is not just inefficiency — this is a complete breakdown of internal communication and process management.
Your system feels outdated, disorganized, and completely disconnected. More importantly, it demonstrates a clear lack of respect for clients — especially business clients whose time directly impacts their operations and financial outcomes.
As a direct result of your company’s failures, I have:
* Lost a significant amount of time across multiple unnecessary visits
* Experienced ongoing stress and frustration
* Faced disruption to my business activities
This is not a minor inconvenience — this is operational negligence.
It is extremely disappointing to see such a low standard of service from a telecom provider operating in the UAE. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company to any individual or business.
If this issue is not addressed immediately, I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority and pursue further formal action.

I was scammed by DU and DU authorized partners. They have issues two home WiFi on our ID intensely and we are behind them since January 2026 but they are not closing additional account despite it continuing charges us for non-usable account. We visited DU outlet mega mall they said they can't cancel it from branch, call customer service. We called customer service, they said call cancellation department. We call cancellation department who never responded to our call. We are helpless and forced to pay our earrings to DU.
Shockingly bad
Im post paid Du user for years. This all is becoming very bad lately. Online via browser some services are simply not possible and it guides you to go to app to do it. App doesn’t work for weeks!!! Weeks!!! Is there any IT there? How is this even possible? If I change the provider it will be simply because your normal rights as a user, you can’t fulfill!

I had a very bad experience with du connection and I want to warn everyone before you fall into the same trap.
At the time of taking the connection, some agents promised attractive offers and discounts. Everything sounded perfect. But once the connection was activated and the first original bill came, it was completely different from what was promised. Extra charges were added, and the “offers” they explained were not applied properly.
The worst part is, after selling the connection, those agents are not reachable at all. They will not answer calls or messages. You are left alone to deal with the issue.
Customer service is also very poor. No proper response, no clear explanation, and no real solution even after multiple complaints. It feels like they don’t take responsibility at all.
This is clearly misleading and feels like cheating customers with false promises just to get new connections.
Please be careful and don’t trust verbal offers from agents. Always get everything in writing. I will never recommend this DU connection to anyone based on my experience.

Very disappointing experience with du.
I have been a loyal customer and always paid my bills on time, even though the charges are quite high. Recently, your team confirmed that two of my contracts are already completed and only one is active. Based on this, I requested a downgrade due to my current financial situation.
Instead of supporting the customer, I was surprised to see my bill increased with additional charges, including what like termination fees. This is completely unfair and not what was communicated to me.
As a customer, I expect transparency, honesty, and proper billing. Adding extra charges after confirming contract completion and downgrade is unacceptable.
I strongly request du to review my case, correct the billing, and ensure such issues do not happen to other customers.
Hoping for a quick and fair resolution.

The Du mobile most official scammers and official thieves company I have ever known in my life. It feels like they collect their customer service staff from the streets. None of them help at all. They are playing games on their phones while customers are asking for help. On 13.03.2026 I paid money for my mobile line, and only after exactly 3 days — after big struggles and after giving me a huge nervous breakdown — the payment was finally credited to my account. Not a single apology, not a single attempt for compensation. This is not Dubai, this is Mumbai. They gathered everyone here. When we submit our CVs they say it is not ATS-compatible, but I really don’t understand how they select their own employees.
