It seemed too good to be true. Unlimited designs. But it's actually what they do, and it's simply true. We're extremely happy with their work.

We have many design requirements. We have worked with several agencies, and they always handle your design requirements as if we are building a space shuttle.

Don't get me wrong. Duck Design provides clean and well-thought-out designs, applying best practices to ensure it's UX/UI friendly. But they do kill the agency model. We don't want to do days of mood boards, and sparring sessions. We want to provide our requirements in the best possible way, see a result, and iterate from there. That's precisely what Duck design offers us.

I would recommend Duck design to all colleague entrepreneurs. Duck Design is the killer for traditional design agencies, we're happy we found them.

Love working with Duck.Design, great project management, fast, and reliable. Really enjoyed the process working with them, and for a start-up at our stage we could not ask for a better partner.

Duck Design is an extension of my marketing consulting business, they provide a great, cost-effective, and creative service and I would recommend them to others looking for a flexible solution to graphic and creative design.

We’ve used the Duck team for the last 6 months. Their work has been amazing and their processes are exceptional. They’ve been a wonderful team to work with and have been a tremendous addition to our organization to help us manage the workload.

I have been working with Duck.Design for over 3 months now. The search began when our old design agency started not to perform as some of their best employees left. As a small startup, we couldn't hire an internal designer and had experienced issues using freelancers. That's when we came across this amazing crew and started on an initial 30-day contract. We were assigned an awesome designer we are still working with today and are just so impressed at the effort put into each task, as well as the great communication. You can tell they really care about doing a good job.

Duck Design's business model is very unique and offers highly flexible, fast and professional work processes. We use the created designs for events, our website and many more occasions. I can highly recommend their services, especially as a small company.

The Duck design team is awesome. They really quickly got familiar with our brand(s) and consistently create creative, professional assets for us. We are a tech company and things sometimes move quickly, but they do a great job keeping up with us. Would definitely recommend.

A great business model, and a hard working, eager to please team! As long as you're clear with your design requirements (which you should be whenever sending a design brief really!) then you'll get fantastic results. We've been with Duck Design for a few months, and have got a lot of brilliant design work out of them.

Really exceeded my expectations, this team are responsive, thorough, engaging & always willing to help and the quality of the output has been fantastic. I have returned to Duck design on 3 separate occasions now and not only has their team been able to take a good chunk of workload off me, their forward thinking team has helped enhance my own ideas to be better. Like with any team, make sure you enter the conversation with a clear view for what you need and articulate it as best as possible, that is the best way to make use of the skills team at Duck Design.

I want to share my experiance working with the Platform "Duck Design".

It started with me looking for a good designer on Upwork. I was already in contact with someone who could help me with re-branding such as brand book, presentations, various templates, content, new website, wireframe, design etc.
Before a salesman from "DD" appeared and made his sales pitch.
He argued that "DD" had a flat monthly price and you could deliver so much graphic work since there was a whole design team working on your task. And taht sound quite good! I mean why not! A whole team of people with grapich skills for a whole month!

But the truth was something completely different after I paid and started.
1. they have multiply people for different task and skills, but its only one that work with you task/project at the time. So the designer needs to finish the first task before jumping to the next.
2. They told me, they make content and writting, but they dont.
3. Since there is only one designer who works on your tasks, what they can do is limited considering that there is a lot of back and forth, which is normal. But time is running out!
4. The first onboarding I got was quite simple without actually going through the project. I was assigned a designer who started with the brand book and I gave careful notice that we had to set color palettes first and update me before we went any further. No one listened to what I said in the "brief" and after a week I received a draft of a brand book where everything from colors and design was wrong. We ended up having to start over again with a new designer.
5. DD uses Trello as there project management tools which is very good, but I have to say that the communication is rather slow.
6. Based on my experience, som poor communication some times as well as feedback time, I think several hours and days are probably wasted into no work/productivity. I dont think this is directly the people mistake, but rather the "trello platform"..

So what is my conclusion after working in sales and marketing and with various freelancers for the past 20 years?

I will say that I got off to a bad start at "DD". I think it's boring that I got a completely different impression than what the reality was.

Had I known how it all worked, I probably would have stuck with a freelancer on Upwork as I would have gotten more for my money. The tasks I never finished on DD I had to give to someone else on upwork, otherwise I would have to renew another month on DD, so I would just end up with a huge loss! Communication in general and no time limit would also be easier on Upwork with a designer at an fixed price.

But I want to add some positive things. After I got a new designer, the project went very smoothly and I have been relatively satisfied with the design and quality, of course there were certain things that could have been improved, but due to lack of time, I just had to jump on to the next task . But overall a good experience with the new designer. I also think that DD is a good platform for outsourcing a lot of graphic work month after month, but for a shorter period, I would probably have tried to find a skilled freelancer/designer on e.g. Upwork where you dont have to think about the time and how much need to be done since you set a fixed price. Plus the communicatons is alot easier from my experiance. You do a zoom call when ever you need!

Because of this sales experience and the fact that things didn't quite match reality, I give DD 2-3 stars, but would probably give them a 5 if it weren't for this sales experiance. The value you get anyway for 1 month is pretty GOOD compared to much else. But be careful with your own expectations in the timeframe, things take time!;)
